Strengths: Initially used for his scrummaging Jones has since developed into a fine all-round prop with excellent mobility and handling skills. He also has excellent leadership skills, recognised when he captained Wales on their tour to Argentina in 2006.

Weaknesses: Jones has been known to lose focus at the set-piece on occassion which in the RWC could prove costly.
