full-time Bulls 40 Cheetahs 24
80 The Cheetahs are under pressure behind their try-line and replacement back opts to dot the ball down. The hooter has sounded and referee Marius Jonker promptly blows the final whistle. Although the Cheetahs came back strongly in the latter part of the second half the Bulls had this match in the bag by half-time already. They certainly deserve this win!

Half-time Bulls 26 Cheetahs 0
40 From a scrum on the edge of the Bulls' five-metre line Hougaard boots the ball into touch and the hooter goes to signal half-time. The Bulls will try to continue where they left off, after the break, while the visitors have the proverbial mountain to climb to get back into this match.
37 CONVERSION, BULLS, STEYN! 26-0. Steyn adds another two points and the Bulls are in total control of this match now.
36 TRY, BULLS, HOUGAARD! 24-0. The Bulls forwards do well to put pressure on the Cheetahs' scrum on their five-metre line and when the ball pops out Francois Hougaard picks it up and almost walks over the whitewash!

28 TRY, BULLS, KIRCHNER! 19-0. Steyn launches a bomb when the Bulls are awarded a penalty and Johnson and Bjorn Basson both go up to compete for it. The Cheetahs number eight knocks it backwards and Kirchner is first to react when he gathers and dots down behind the visitors' try-line!

19 CONVERSION, BULLS, STEYN! 7-0. Morne Steyn adds the extras to extend his side's lead.
18 TRY, BULLS, SPIES! 5-0. Captain Pierre Spies runs onto a beautifully weighted pass from Francois Hougaard and barges over the try-line from close quarters!
16 The Cheetahs are on the attack deep inside the Bulls' 22 but Pieter Labuschagne is soon pinned for holding onto the ball on the ground.

Kick-off Morne Steyn gets us underway! It's a deep kick and Heinrich Brussouw knocks on on his 22 metre line. Scrum to the Bulls!
Team News Cheetahs coach Naka Drotske has made six changes to his starting line-up. Drotske has brought in Trevor Nyakane for the injured Coenie Ooasthuizen at loosehead prop while Marcel van der Merwe gets a rare start at tighthead in place of WP Nel. The only other change up front sees Ashley Johnson moving from the flank to number eight where he replaces Philip van der Walt. Johnson's place on the side of the scrum is taken by Pieter Labuschagne. Amongst the backs Willie le Roux takes over from Hennie Daniller at full-back while Rocco Jansen, who played on the right wing against the Waratahs, moves over to Le Roux's regular position on the left wing. This switch means that Philip Snyman will wear Jansen's number 14 jersey.
Team News Bulls coach Frans Ludeke has made just one change to his starting XV for this clash. Flanker Jacques Potgieter replaces CJ Stander, who moves to the bench in the place of Arno Botha.
