Bulls v Waratahs - Live
Time up on the clock. Steyn takes his time as he tries to convert his five-pointer, but the flags stay down. It won't matter though as the ref blows for full-time. The Bulls prevail! But credit to the Waratahs, who gave it their all. Thanks for joining us folks!
TRY, BULLS. Now the hosts look to attack. A tsunami of blue jerseys forces the Waratahs on the back foot. The Bulls are just 10m out, as Hougaard goes blind and links with his halfback partner Steyn who has a go himself and touches down to seal the deal for his team!
75 The visitors need to score next if they are to have any hope of winning this match as we head into the last few minutes.Hooper takes two Bulls' defenders with him into the hosts' 22. Potgieter goes in hard on defence though, and looks to have dislodged the ball from Hooper's grasp...
71 PENALTY, BULLS. Spies throws the ball to Steyn who is asked to have a shot from halfway. He's struck is well... going, going, going... over! 25-19
70 The see-saw battle continues as the visitors refuse to roll over in this epic battle. The ball is spread wide to Waratahs danger man Folau, but the full-back is wrapped up and blown up for holding on.
CONVERSION, BULLS. Steyn slots over the conversion, and the Bulls lead 22-19.
TRY, BULLS. The hosts drive towards the line and they are just short now. Steyn has a go, but is hauled down inches short!!! Oh, so close. But Hougaard picks it up at the base and he is over! Yes? Yes! The ref awards the touchdown.
66 The Bulls looking to hit back with a try of their own as Spies leads the charge, and is brought down just inside the Waratahs' 22. The hosts send it wide and it is nearly intercepted but Mapoe ducks under a tackle and lays it back for Hougaard.
CONVERSION, WARATAHS. McKibbin adds the extras! The 'Tahs hit the front once again. 15-19!
TRY, WARATAHS. Crawford makes the Bulls chase him for 70m, before Basson eventually brings him down. But the ball is recyled quickly, and Foley strolls in for a superb try! That's the Waratahs' third!
61 Both sides full of running, as the ball is shifted from left to right and back again. Replacement back Lionel Mapoe (on for Ndungane) takes and races along the touchline before the ball is turned over and the Waratahs counter-attack through Crawford.
PENALTY, BULLS. Steyn makes no mistake! 15-12
57 Hougaard gets stuck in straight away, and tries to put Serfontein into a gap, but the centre is crunched in a tackle. It looked like the 'Tahs were a tad offsides... yip, the ref agrees - so it's a penalty to the Bulls and in kicking distance for Steyn.
55 The crowd roar as Francois Hougaard makes his way on to the field in place of Vermaak.
54 Penalty to the Tahs! Chance for the visitors to take the lead for the first time in this match, but McKibbin pushes his attempt wide.
52 Ralepelle's game is over. He hobbles off and is replaced by Willie Wepener.
51 John Ulugia is on for Polota-Nau and has his first throw-in at an attacking line-out... the 'Tahs just 5m out from the Bulls tryline. Kruger steals it though! Great work from the Bulls lock, and Ralepelle takes and hits the deck. Vermaak fires the pass out to Steyn who gets his team out of their danger zone...
50 Blow for the Waratahs as Polota-Nau limps off the field. His opposite number Chiliboy Ralepelle, is in trouble too... but stays on.
49 Here come the Bulls! Spies links up with Arno Botha and the flank makes some hard yards - breaking out of two would-be defenders. He's taken down, but tries to leopard crawl his way into the 'Tahs' 22. The ref blows him up for holding on, so the visitors with a chance to clear the ball into the safety of touch.
McKibbin adds the extras and levels the scores! 12-12!
Foley breaks before putting Hooper into space. The flank sees Ryan on his inside and gets the pass away to the replacement front-rower who turns on the gas and runs in for the Waratahs second try!
43 Prop Sekope Kepu is the next player to receive treatment from the medics. His leg is wrapped up, and he makes his way off the pitch... so on comes Paddy Ryan.
Second Half Welcome back! Steyn kick-off is long, and it's Crawford who takes it in and runs it back. The winger is sandwiched in a tackle, and the ball pops out of his hands and rolls into touch.
Just one minute left in this half. The Bulls want another score and they may just get it after the visitors are blown up for offsides. Steyn lines up his fifth penalty shot of the match and.... it's over! So the Bulls have the last laugh in the first half. Stick around folks, this game is still anyone's for the taking! 12-5!
38 The Bulls win the restart and their forwards bash before Serfontein has a run. Beyers steps well and it goes out to Basson who is tackled into touch.
35 McKibbin's conversion is no good, but the 'Tahs are on the board!
TRY, WARATAHS. The visitors have an attacking line-out on the Bulls' 22. Out the ball comes and Folau takes out wide. He steps out of a tackle and races in for a try in the corner!
32 Horne is hit hard but Engelbrecht does not roll away so McKibbin has a shot at goal but pushes it wide.
29 Ashley-Cooper makes ground in midfield, Foley is in support and has a run and his tackler knocks it on so the Tahs will have the scrum on halfway.
27 The winger is back on his feet. Play resumes. Can you believe it, the ball goes straight to him... he's under pressure and is scrambled into touch. Dennis taps it down from the line-out, Brendan McKibbin has a run and the forwards take over as they drive on
25 Play is halted as Ndungane gets some medical attention. Looks like he's done his ankle.
23 The Bulls drive a maul towards the 22 and Kruger breaks off. It goes out to Engelbrecht and the ball is ripped off him but Palu holds on to it on the ground so Steyn has another shot at goal but puts it wide.
21 Adam Ashley-Cooper takes it up for the visitors... they haven't had much ball to work with thus far. Gosh, they've lost it again! Pierre Spies the player responsible for ripping the pigskin off the Waratahs centre.
18 PENALTY, BULLS. The Waratahs need to watch their discipline. This time Wycliff Palu is blown up for holding on, and it's bang in front of his posts. So Steyn makes it 9-0 with his third penalty shot of the night.
15 Flip van der Merwe pinched one off the Waratahs throw. Dewald Potgieter is in possession at the back of a maul. Now he peels off, and runs it up. Michael Hooper is pinged for hands in the ruck. Steyn goes for touch, and sets up another attacking line-out.
12 A ruck has formed, Tom Kingston is fed on the short side but once again the ball is turned over, which allows Steyn to clear his lines and the Waratahs have to start all over again from inside their own 22.
10 Waratahs centurion Tatafu Polota-Nau throws in at the line-out just outside the Bulls' 22. Kane Douglas takes it in, and the Sydneysiders drive it up...
PENALTY, BULLS. Over it goes, so that's two from two from Steyn. 6-0!
6 Rob Horne breaks the line and makes 20m before he's hauled down and the Bulls have turned over possession! Now the counter-attack! After several phases, the ref raises his arm and plays advantage to the hosts who continue to rumble the ball up to the Tahs line, but the visitors are up to the task in defence. The ref finally blows his whistle... chance for more points if Steyn can bang this over.
4 Trouble for the Waratahs as lock Sitaleki Timani receives some treatment after staying down in a tackle. He seems to be OK though, and takes his place in the second row as the two sides prepare to scrum down on half-way.
2 PENALTY, BULLS. Early chance for Morne Steyn to put some points on the board after Akona Ndungane was taken out in mid-air. The Bulls pivot raises the flags! First blood to the Bulls... 3-0!
1 And we're under way! Bernard Foley kicks off - taken in by Bjorn Basson and the winger boots it into touch. Israel Folau takes a quick throw-in, and Cam Crawford hoists a high one and gives chase.
Team News The Bulls, who crushed the Kings 34-0 last week, regain prop Dean Greyling and scavenger Diewald Potgieter from injury while halfback Francois Hougaard makes his return via the bench.. The Waratahs who beat the Chiefs last weekend have made one change as Tom Kingston comes in for Drew Mitchell.
Welcome Hello and welcome Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria, where the Bulls play host to the Waratahs! The hosts have won the last seven matches between these two teams, whilst the men from Sydney last tasted victory in the South African capital over a decade ago. Will history be rewritten? We'll find out after 80 minutes!

While Europe were busy demolishing the USA in the Ryder Cup, there was rugby from all four corners of the globe to get stuck into over the weekend.
South Africa should have the better of Australia up front but they must not allow the backs any time or space, says Thinus Delport.
There was loads of great rugby to enjoy over the weekend including some PRO12 upsets and some controversial refereeing.
