Waratahs v Stormers - Live
WARATAHS 21-15 STORMERS
80 PENALTY, WARATAHS, BARNES! 21-15: Few expected it, but Barnes trickles it over the crossbar! Terrific finish by the Waratahs, the Stormers defence looked rock solid throughout but injuries to Vermeulen and a lapse at the death have cost the South African side. Great fightback from the hosts late in the second half. That's all from Sydney.
79 Tahs scrum on halfway, a minute to tick down on the clock. Penalty, Ryan gets the plaudits and Barnes will take a shot to run down the clock.
TRY, WARATAHS, FOLAU! 18-15: A further advantage for the Tahs, inches out now. Bit of space, and Folau is in! Try to the Waratahs! That could well be the match-winner. Habana at fault for rushing up in defence. Barnes converts.
74 Good pressure from the Tahs, Ryan and Robinson carrying well. Five metres out, but the ball is lost. Penalty Tahs, what will they go for now? Scrum.
72 Polota-Nau finds a rare gap as the Tahs press. Penalty advantage, Barnes chips ahead and the pass is just forward. Barnes goes for the corner rather than the shot.
70 Vermeulen down for the Stormers, Habana chips and chases and Folau knocks on in the collision. Pietersen tries to drop the ball into the corner but Mitchell takes the mark.
68 Turnovers a plenty as the Stormers stay composed. Scrum advantage but Duvenage kicks long.
66 Half-break for Ryan and then Ashley-Cooper breaks a tackle. Forward pass though from Barnes and the Stormers have a scrum.
PENALTY, STORMERS, PIETERSEN! 11-15: Long-range effort and Pietersen stays perfect, 5/5 on the night. Timani replaced by Will Skelton who makes his debut.
64 De Jongh hits a gap as the Stormers attack. Tahs again offending at the ruck, side entry and another shot for Pietersen.
62 Turned over by the Stormers who then kick in Tahs territory. Berrick Barnes on for Foley.
60 Habana nearly collects the 22 dropout but just knocks on, Tahs scrum on the right at halfway. Foley hit hard by Kolisi who put the pressure on, like a brick wall in defence.
58 Changes for the Stormers as Ntubeni and Cilliers enter the fray. Waratahs scrum in midfield in the Stormers half. Paddy Ryan crashes up, just outside the Stormers 22. Foley attempts the drop goal but it drifts narrowly to the left.
PENALTY, STORMERS, PIETERSEN! 11-12: Tight game this - Pietersen adding a further three points.
55 Stormers kick to touch inside the Waratahs 22. Powerful maul, Kolisi with the ball at the back. Disrupted by Hooper but Timani flops right over the ball. Pietersen going for the posts.
53 Drew Mitchell on for Peter Betham. Stormers lineout by halfway, poor passing and the Tahs will have the scrum after a couple of knock-ons.
PENALTY, WARATAHS, MCKIBBIN! 11-9: Tahs now go ahead, Stormers pinged at the breakdown near their own line for hands in the ruck. Simple shot from McKibbin out on the right.
PENALTY, STORMERS, PIETERSEN! 8-9: The visitors are back in front after Pietersen's long-range effort.
45 Van Aswegen clear to about the 30 metre mark - Tahs lineout. Hacked away by the Stormers and Polota-Nau is penalised for holding on.
PENALTY, STORMERS, PIETERSEN! 8-6: Gap cut to two as Pietersen dinks over a simple shot.
42 Turned over by Hooper on the deck but the clearance only reaches the edge of the 22. Stormers looking to set up a maul, back released but the Tahs are penalised for tackling de Jongh without the ball.
40 Back underway in Sydney - Stormers attacking the short side from a scrum.
WARATAHS 8-3 STORMERS
PENALTY, WARATAHS, MCKIBBIN! 8-3: Easy three for McKibbin and that's the break. Stormers defence holding more or less and dominating the set-piece, but the Waratahs controlling possession. All to play for.
39 Set play puts Horne through a gap on the left, Tahs building the pressure. Short ball from Folau to Hooper, Timani rumbling forward. Tahs very close to the try line as we get closer to the interval. Fourie goes in at the side, penalty Tahs.
38 Another poor Tahs lineout but Foley does well to keep the ball alive. Stormers hand knocks it on, Tahs scrum 30 metres out.
36 No progress and the Stormers turn the ball over again. Poor kicks from Duvenage keeps the Stormers under pressure in their own half.
34 Advantage over for the penalty but the Tahs have a scrum in front of the posts. Cleared by Aplon and Polota-Nay finds his man. Just outside the Stormers 22 - defence from the visitors holding firm for now.
33 Advantage Tahs, Stormers slowing the ball down. Time off as Pollock refers to his TMO for an off-the-ball scrap following the maul. Speaking to both captains.
32 Foley kicks into the corner, Tahs attacking. Rolling maul with Hooper at the base.
30 Crawford slices his kick into touch so the Stormers set up their rolling maul. Habana picks and goes as the visitors edge closer... but it's stolen! Ashley-Cooper nails Aplon who concedes the penalty inside the Stormers own half. Great swing of play.
28 Folau tries a bit of magic within his own 22 but it doesn't quite come off. Tahs struggle to clear and the Stormers have an impact scrum.
26 Loose from the Tahs at the restart, Benn Robinson's distribution not the best as Crawford lashes it away. Stormers lineout outside the Tahs 22.
TRY, WARATAHS, CRAWFORD! 7-3: Ball is judged to have gone backwards after Folau rose to claim it. Crawford adds to his hat-trick from last weekend. McKibbin fails to convert.
23 Waratahs penalty and Foley prods the ball deep into the 22. Promising situation for the Tahs - short lineout and Dennis combines with Polota-Nau. Palu rolls past one, cross-field kick from Foley, Folau knocks it back and Crawford looks to have scored! TMO checking whether the ball did go back or forward...
21 Folau collects the high ball and beats one before being brought down. Heavy hit from Aplon and the pass goes into touch from the Tahs, Stormers lineout.
20 The Tahs win a lineout on the Stormers 10 metre line - inside ball from Foley to Crawford nearly works as the hosts press. Into the 22, Kepu with a carry and loses the ball. Kolisi collects and Pietersen clears.

12 Stormers lose the ball and are then penalised for offside - Waratahs clear to halfway.
10 De Jongh crashes up on the switch - Vermeulen currently down on the deck. Pass from Aplon to Elstadt looks forward but we play on - wide ball to Bekker who reaches the 22.

I watched Bath v Saracens last Friday and was very impressed with George Ford and how well he controlled that game for Bath. I would love to see him play a big role in the autumn internationals and I hope Stuart Lancaster starts him for at least two of the four Tests.
