Force 21-15 Brumbies. The Force end on a high and it's not all doom and gloom for the Brumbies as they'll be back for a play-off clash next weekend.
80 Mathewson collects the ball from the base and cracks it into touch! That's the ball game.
79 It looks like Hayward as got the three points but it just fades wide. Big mistake from the Brumbies as Toomua doesn't dot the ball down in the in-goal area before throwing it forward for the 22 to be taken and it's a scrum 5 out for the Force - how bizarre!
78 They don't have the ball for long though as Robbie Coleman at first receiver takes his eye of the ball and knocks it on. Force scrum on the Brumbies 10m. That's 17 handling errors from the visitors. Penalty to the Force at the scrum and they can make the game safe now!
76 Ebersohn puts up high one but doesn't get nearly enough distance on it but somehow Cummins manages to take it anyway. The Force keep it close, taking it through six phases but there is a little knock on from McCalman and the Brumbies have possession back.
74 It's the Brumbies that get the penalty at scrum time this time but once again touch is not found. Hayward puts in a high one and Mogg collects but is hammered back in the tackle and a knock on from Smith under pressure puts the Force back on the attack with a scrum on halfway.
73 Cummins somehow manages to come down with a Mathewson box kick. Hayward and Mogg trade kicks and it's the Force man who comes out on top as Mogg kicks it straight out. Force line-out just short of the 10m but the ball is knocked on.
71 A bit of lull after the injury delay. The two sides exchange kicks and the Brumbies have a line-out just inside their half. The ball is spread wide to Tomane who tries the little grubber down the touchline, the Force defence comes across to cover and with the ball not coming out of the ensuing ruck the Force have a scrum. They win a penalty as the Brumbies scrum goes down and Ebershon sets up the line-out just inside his half.
67 We have a bit of a delay as McMeniman receives treatment for a neck injury. He was sitting up but they've got him back on the ground and he'll be stretchered off. Let's hope it's not serious. After the break Lealiifano can't convert.
66 TRY, BRUMBIES, FARDY 15-21. Sharper from the Brumbies backs and Mogg is put into space, racing into the 22. His pass back in field is knocked down by a Force player and Dellit plays the ball, resulting in a penalty. Smith takes it quickly and Fardy is on hand to take the pass and dive over.
65 McCalman breaks off the back and does well but his offload is knocked down by a Brumbies player although advantage to the visitors is called. The Brumbies move it to the far touchline before Hodgson snuffles the loose ball but is tackled into touch.
63 The Brumbies move it though the hands as they look for a much-needed try but the execution is so poor as they get a reprieve when Mogg knocks the ball backwards only for them to then pass the ball forward. Not the stuff of champions.
62 Hayward drags it to the left so we go back to the 22. The teams exchange kicks before the Brumbies decide to bash it up in their own half. Mogg gets the chance to clear and does so well, finding touch just outside the Force 22.
60 McCalman peels off the back of the scrum and makes some good ground before the Brumbies are pinged for coming in from the side and the Force decide to go for the posts this time.
59 A lovely little move from the Force at the front of the line-out as Hilterbrand passes it to McCalman at the front of the line-out, the number eight hands it right back to the hooker who dives over in the corner. We go to the TMO who says that McCalman was outside of the five (his foot was one the line) but there was no conclusive replay with regards to the grounding so it's ruled not to be a try. Scrum to the Force five out.
58 Force line-out just outside the Brumbies 22. Cummins is brought into the line at pace once more and while he can't break through he gives the Force some forward momentum. Play is brought to a halt by an infringement from Fardy and the Force set up the line-out just out from the Brumbies line.
56 Rohan Hoffman hands out some stern words to the two front rows after yet another reset. The Force work it up to halfway before Mathewson puts in a great little kick over the top that bounces into the corner five out from the Brumbies line.
54 Smith breaks through one tackle as he bashes it up from the line-out. A tough pass to Mogg is knocked on and the errors continue to come from the Brumbies.
53 George Smith is on the field and the veteran does well to duck under a big tackle from McCalman in midfield. An exchange of kicks sees the Brumbies with a line-out on their 10m. McCalman is pinged for bringing the maul down at the line-out and the visitors have another chance to clear which Mogg does this time.
51 Alcock is penalised for going off his feet at the restart but Mogg doesn't find touch and the Force clear into the Brumbies half - that was a let off.
49 TRY, BRUMBIES, KURIDRANI 10-21. The Force have to commit so many players to the maul that when the ball is moved out to the backs they're struggling and a great little pass from Toomua puts Kuridrani in under the posts. Lealiifano adds two more.
48 Poor restart from the Force as a loose pass sees Jacobs forced to clear off his goal-line but it was taken back into the 22 so it's a Brumbies line-out 5 from the line.
47 CONVERSION, FORCE, HAYWARD, 21-3. Hayward adds the extras.
46 TRY, FORCE, RASOLEA, 19-3. Great set move from the Force and it results in a try to Rasolea. Mathewson brings in Cummins from the scrum, with the winger running on at pace and slicing through the defence. A lovely little behind the back pass to Rasolea and the centre steps passed the last line of defence and over under the posts.
45 Brumbies line-out on the 10m. Mogg gets hit hard in a tackle but he gets back up. The Brumbies cough up possession and Mathewson puts in the box kick which is take on the Brumbies 10m line by Mogg. Sloppy from the Brumbies as Fardy notches up handling error number 12 for the visitors.
43 Not a great start for the Force as Mathewson kicks it out on the full, handing the Brumbies a line-out just over the 10m line. A loss in communication sees Lealiifano pass the ball into touch as the Brumbies continue to misifire.
FORCE 14-3 BRUMBIES
40 TRY, FORCE, MCCALMAN! 14-3: There it is! Force cannot be denied much longer as McCalman darts over from Mathewson's pass. Brumbies way off the pace here in Perth as the Force hold a commanding 11-point lead now at half-time.
39 Advantage to the Force right under the Brumbies posts, but it's for a scrum and not a penalty. Time running out in the first half.
38 Rightly called as forward so the Brumbies scrum is five metres out. Toomua slips as he clears so the Force have a promising lineout.
36 Dellitt crashing up through the middle for the Force who press on, Wykes cantering away. Good hands from Cowan as the Force are now five metres out. Wide ball and Sykes tries to push the offload a bit too much and watches it go forward. Or at least it seemed so... checked by the TMO.
34 PENALTY, BRUMBIES, LEALIIFANO! 7-3: Simple shot for the inside centre and the Brumbies are already on the board.
32 Mogg kicks to the corner and the Brumbies set up the attack. Hodgson penalised and the Brumbies this time will go for goal.
30 Brumbies maul holds firm - Mogg kicking long but to little effect. Cummins launches a huge bomb, misses Mogg who passes to Toomua kicking again. Both sides searching for territory but the Brumbies take the penalty, good work from Alexander.
27 Kick rifled high by Ebersohn but and the Force do get it back. Brumbies on turnover ball, Toomua trying to kick behind but fielded by Cummins and Hayward finds touch.
24 Brumbies with the lineout 40 metres out. Toomua through a gap, wide to Speight. Big tackle from Cowan on Moore forces the error, so the Force get the scrum.
22 TRY, FORCE, HODGSON! 7-0: Force using the grubbers well, Tomane again under pressure this time on the right touchline. Quick tap penalty from the Force and Hodgson is over! Try! Burrowed over past Sam Carter and the home skipper is in. Hayward converts.
20 Hayward's penalty attempt falls short and wide, so we remain without any points so far.
18 Kick drilled through by Jacobs but Tomane gets back just in time ahead of Cummins. Brumbies seal off the ball trying to defend so the Force have a penalty. Going for goal.
16 Clearing kick from Mogg goes out around halfway, still scoreless in Perth. Box kick by Mathewson, grabbed by Cummins. Force pressing on but that's forward by Ebersohn in the tackle, Brumbies scrum.
14 Strong drive from the Brumbies but the Force do get it away, Mathewson with the box kick getting plenty of distance. Thrown to the back to Kimlin, but that's knocked on. Scrappy start.
12 Powerful run from Faingaa down the blindside, winning the penalty at the breakdown. Attacking lineout to the Brumbies five metres out. Good drive, ball with Alexander. Not coming out of that maul, so it's a five metre scrum to the Force.
10 Brumbies attack not quite firing just yet. Force scrum just inside their own half, good early intent. Persistent early engaging from the Force so Mogg kicks that into touch near the Force 22.
8 Strong Force scrum as Cowan drives on, Force back-row working hard early on. Good breakdown work though from Lealiifano, winning the penalty for Mogg to clear long.
6 Cummins at first receiver gets clattered, Brumbies turning the ball over and having a go from deep through Mogg. Forward off Kuridrani so the Force get another attacking scrum.
4 Longbottom off receiving treatment as the Force attack, Cummins get in on the action down the left wing. Brumbies working hard but that's gone forward at the ruck, Force scrum.
2 Early engage at the scrum from the Force so the Brumbies will take it. Blindside to Toomua, Brumbies now over halfway. Good pressure from Alcock and the Force win the ball back. High kick is knocked on, Force scrum.
Kick off Underway but Matt Toomua's kickoff flies into touch! Scrum to the Force.
Slight wind in Perth but otherwise fine conditions.
