France v Italy - Live
FRANCE 30-10 ITALY
80 That's it! Italy held France for a half but once the hosts got that first try, the floodgates opened. Thanks for joining us, cheers!
78 CONVERSION, ORQUERA. 30-10.
77 TRY, ITALY, IANNONE. 30-8. At last Italy are rewarded for their efforts. After a long maul, Parisse sends it wide through the hands and Iannone dives into the corner.
75 13 plays 14 as Italy continue to search for a try. We'll stop for a break as Le Roux is knocked out cold after taking a knee to the head.
72 So the penalty goes to France - Rizzo with the first headbutt that sparked the reaction from Slimani.
72 RED CARD, FRANCE, SLIMANI
72 RED CARD, ITALY, RIZZO
71 Fisticuffs between the front rows after a 5m scrum to Italy goes up. The ref asks the TMO to have a look.
70 YELLOW CARD, FRANCE, VAHAAMAHINA. Sebastien Vahaamahina is sent to the bin 30 seconds after coming on for Papé for kicking the ball away when Italy had a penalty.
69 Italy go for the try from a 5m scrum but get turned over! This really is France's day. Machenaud, on for Doussain, clears.
68 Italy denied a try. Botes is over in a pile of bodies but there is a hand under the ball. No try says the TMO. Francois Trinh-Duc comes on for Plisson!
66 A big run from Sarto takes Italy to 5m from the French line. The ball goes wide to Furno but Huget makes an heroic tackle to knock the ball from the big lock's hands as he dives for the line.
64 The Stade de France pitch is breaking up badly at scrum time. Italy have finally made some progress and are now hammering away just outside the French 22.
62 Papé plays on. What a machine. Italy are keeping ball in hand but they're pinned in their own half.
60 It's all Italy at the moment. France are happy to shut up shop and defend. Zanni spills it with acres of space at his disposal. A worry for France though as Papé gets some attention from the medics.
58 Ghiraldini penalised for holding on just short of the French line. Plisson clears.
57 Italy looking to hit back as they string together 12 phases deep in the French 22. The home defence holds though. We'll come back for a penalty to Italy, who kick into the corner.
54 CONVERSION, DOUSSAIN. 30-3. This is the result France have needed to boost their confidence!
52 TRY, FRANCE, BONNEVAL. 28-3. Great try from France! Fofana intercepts inside his own 22 and bolts 50m. Huget pins his ears back next but needs to offload to Bonneval, who finishes!
51 Italy looking to inject some pace into the game as Campagnaro probes but the French defence is well set.
49 The French have their tails up now. Picamoles smashes Garcia to win the penalty in midfield. Plisson finds touch on the Italian 22. On comes Forestier for Domingo and Slimani for Mas.
47 CONVERSION, DOUSSAIN. 23-3. The French scrum-half has found his range as the crowd breaks into song.
46 TRY, FRANCE, FOFANA. 21-3. Great try from Fofana, who breaks down the blindside touchline, shrugs off the tackle from McLean and cruises home!
45 CONVERSION, DOUSSAIN. 16-3. Good conversion from out wide.
44 TRY, FRANCE, PICAMOLES! 14-3. Picamoles breaks off a maul, he is tackled just short but can stretch and arm out and score! The TMO says it's OK!
42 Whoa! Big recovery from France at scrum time as they shove the Azzurri back. Plisson finds touch from the ensuing penalty.
41 Here we go for round2! Plisson kicks us off.
FRANCE 9-3 ITALY
40 Italy finish the half with a big maul but Papé goes through the middle and steals it. Parisse is raging mad! That's half time, we'll be back in ten.
38 PENALTY, FRANCE, DOUSSAIN. 9-3. Papé complaining to the ref about the Italian penalty count, which is mounting.
36 Half time is looming. France have had the bulk of territory and possession but don't have much of a lead. The hosts look to build in centre field, but progress is slow.
34 PENALTY, FRANCE, DOUSSAIN. 6-3. Picamoles goes on the charge before Italy are penalised for pulling down the maul. Doussain bounces his kick over off the post.
32 MISSED PENALTY! Allan sends his effort wide. Poor kicking display from both sides today.
31 The tide has turned here. A free kick against Doussain for a crooked feed. Then a penalty against Le Roux for hands in the ruck.
29 PENALTY, ITALY, ALLAN. 3-3. Dulin not releasing the tackled player after De Marchi breaks. Easy three points.
27 PENALTY, FRANCE, DOUSSAIN. 3-0. At last we have points!
25 France plying the pressure here, camped 10m short of the Italian line. 7 phases and Dulin has a dart at the line but is held up. We'll come back for a penalty for offside.
23 MISSED PENALTY from Gonzalo Garcia from nearly 50m out. 0-0 it remains.
21 Basta spills it in contact. Another scrum penalty to Italy - Castrogiovanni is dominating Domingo!
19 HUGE scrum from Italy as they push the French back and win a penalty! McLean misses touch though and France can counter via Bastareaud.
18 McLean is in all sorts of trouble as he gets untidy ball behind his own goal-line. He tries to step clear but is wrapped up...5m scrum to France.
16 It's been scrappy so far. France have the upper hand but the Azzurri are doing a good job of disrupting their attack. Plisson sends a great kick into the corner after charge from Bastareaud.
13 Italy's first chance on the ball and they win penalty as Papé takes out Gori at a ruck. Allan has a crack from nearly 50m but it falls short.
10 It's all France. The home side have been camped around the Italian 22 for most of the game but they're just trying force the issue a bit too much. Doussain's service has been poor.
8 Another MISSED PENALTY from Doussain, this time from long range. Italy try run it back but Papé rips the ball away on the 22. MISSED DROP from Plisson.
6 Horrible MISS from Jean-Marc Doussain, who misses an easy penalty!!!
4 Deliberate knock-down from Parisse. Plisson finds touch on the Italian 22 from the penalty. France maul and then Szarzewski breaks, he's stopped 5m short...
3 It's a bit raggedy to start until Plisson finds touch near halfway. Italy try maul after the line-out but get turned over so France can attack.
1 Here we go! Tommaso Allan kicks us off. It goes deep, France spread it wide in their own 22 and Bastareaud must kick, hacking it upfield.
0 Italy have won the toss and have chosen to kick off. Sergio Parisse looking stylish in his white boots!
0 Both Italy skipper Sergio Parisse and tighthead prop Martin Castrogiovanni will equal the national record of 103 caps held by retired prop Andrea Lo Cicero.
0 Italy coach Jacques Brunel has made five changes to his starting XV: Tommaso Iannone starts for the first time on the wing in the place of Angelo Esposito while Gonzalo Garcia returns at inside, taking over from Alberto Sgarbi. Flanker Francesco Minto replaces Alessandro Zanni, who drops to the bench after breaking his nose last Saturday. In the second row, Joshua Furno starts ahead of Marco Bortolami. Up front, Alberto De Marchi is named at loosehead prop, taking over from Michele Rizzo.
0 France have made three changes to their starting line-up: Stade Français full-back Hugo Bonneval will make his debut on the wing in the place of Maxime Médard, who has been dropped from the matchday squad. Up front, Dimitri Szarzewski is rewarded for his game-changing break against England as he starts at hooker ahead of Benjamin Kayser. In the second row, Yoann Maestri starts alongside skipper Pascal Papé as Alexandre Flanquart drops out of the squad and Sebastien Vahaamahina joins bench.
Welcome Hello and welcome to the Stade de France in St. Denis on the outskirts of Paris where France are celebrating their 700th official Test match. After beating England last week, the home side are seeking to claim back-to-back wins for the first time since November 2012. But the opposition have come to play - Italy have won two of the last three games between these sides, so we should have a good one on our hands. Kick-off is approaching, don't go away.
