Waratahs v Reds - Live
80 A completely uninspiring performance from the Reds! They were never in the game and never looked like doing anything special. Their night consisted of copious amounts of errors and mistakes. They have a lot of work to do. The Tahs did play well though and definitely flexed their muscles tonight to show that they are the Top Australian candidate this year. Under coach Michael Cheika this Tahs outfit is looking good and are definitely contenders for a semi-final berth.
80 And that's that! The biggest ever winning margin for the Tahs over the Reds.
78 PENALTY, TAHS, FOLEY, 32-5. Solid kick from Foley as he stretches the lead to 27 points!
77 Tahs now build nicely again and eventually win a penalty in a kickable position. Foley will have a shot from about 30m out.
73 Reds win a penalty on the half way line and Cooper sets up a line out on the 22m. the game is out of reach now but will want to finish strongly. They knock on as another attack fails to bring anything. Ashley-Cooper finds space on the wing and kicks ahead! unfortunately for him the ball rolls out! Reds would have been in trouble there.
70 Reds still not able to string anything together in this half. Eventually Aidan Toua plays some sensible rugby and puts in a good kick which goes out 5m before the Tahs try line.
66 reds win a penalty as Kepu doesn't release player on the ground. The Reds tap and go and make good ground as they work there way into the Tahs 22m. They win another penalty for the Tahs being offside. They take it quickly again but the Tahs turn it over and Foley relieves the pressure with a clearance kick.
64 Finally some good play from the Reds as Ben Tapuai makes a clean break! he gets pulled up short! Tahs turn it over but knock it on. Reds have possession now just outside the Tahs 22m. Reds eventually get bundled into touch!
61 PENALTY, TAHS, FOLEY, 29-5. No problem for Foley as he extends the lead for the home side!
60 And Alofa Alofa dances his way over the line from 5m out! They go upstairs and the try has been disallowed - obstruction. Tahs still have a penalty as Reds were offside. They taking the 3 points now that they have the bonus point.
59 Two big hits from the Tahs on the Reds! Firstly Palu on Shipperly...then Alofa smashes Anthony Faing'a and wins a penalty in the process! They kick for touch. Cooper puts a great grubber throughf or Folau but just goes into before Israel can get to it. Reds under loads of pressure!
56 So soft from the Reds! They come close with the maul before setting up a ruck. No ones home for the reds and the Tahs simply pick it up and clear!
54 Tahs come in from the side and Reds set up another line out from the penalty.
54 Reds manage to get possession and boot it into the Tahs half. Some good pressure from the reds results in them receiving a penalty. Quade puts the ball out 5m from the tryline to set up an attacking line out. Reds must convert.
52 The Tahs hold onto the ball nicely but are unable to penetrate the reds defense. The woes for the Reds continue as they infringe at the breakdown and Foley kicks into the corner to set up a line out in the Reds 22m
50 The Reds can't do anything right tonight! Simple line out and knock on from Will Genia on receiving the ball from the locks. Scrum Tahs on the half way
48 CONVERSION, FOLEY, 26-5. Tahs scoring with a man down! This could be a big score tonight! Great kick from Foley to add the two points.
47 TRY, TAHS, BEALE, 24-5. Loads of pressure on the Reds from the Tahs at that scrum and they get a penalty! Beale takes it quickly and barges his way over for a try! The Tahs are on fire and have wrapped up a bonus point!
45 Was looking ominous for the Reds but Tahs knock on in a collision and let the Reds off the hook!
44 Tahs win a penalty at the scrum this time and Foley puts them deep into Reds territory! Tahs on attack now in the Reds 22m
43 Reds win a penalty at scrum time and makes a good clearance to get them into Tahs territory. Bit of a sloppy line out and they knock on to concede possession!
41 And we're underway for the second half! Foley kicks off and a knock on from the Reds immediately puts them under pressure as Tahs have a scrum on the 22m. Foley passes it forward to an attacking Kurtley Beale and the Reds have a chance to relieve the pressure.
40 Fantastic half from the Tahs who attacked well and always looked dangerous! Israel Folau has capitalized on some good running rugby from Foley to make himself available int he right place at the right time. The Reds need to take advantage of the yellow card received by Folau and score first in the second half to get themselves back in the game!
40 TRY, REDS, TURNER, 19-5. Great use of the extra man by the Reds! Quade does what he does best and sucks in a couple of defenders before going wide. Lachie Turner gets a simple run in for the try! Boy did the reds need that!
39 After checking with the TMO Folau has been sent to the sin bin for a deliberately knocking the ball into touch! Chance for the Reds to get some points before the end of the half!
39 Good play there from the Reds! They go wide with a typical cut out pass from Quade! Aidan Toua shows some good toe before putting it on the toe for Shipperly to chase! The ball crosses the tryline but Folau manages to get there first!
37 Tahs dot down in the corner through Alofa Alofa after another great break from Foley! But the long pass from Foley to the winger has been called forward after checking with the TMO. Its looking all Tahs at the moment!
34 CONVERSION, FOLEY, 19-0. Tahs building a solid lead now!
33 TRY, TAHS, BETHAM, 17-0. You could see it coming from a mile away! The Tahs build nicely into the reds 22m. A huge gap opens on the inside channel and Foley pops inside for the winger to run in an easy try! Tired defense there from the Reds!
32 Jake Schatz wins a penalty for the Reds at the breakdown and the Reds find touch to set up a line out in the tahs half. But the Tahs turnover and then win a penalty after Anthony Fain''ga infringes.
30 Penalty to Tahs after an early tackle on Folau. They kick for touch but lose the line out and the Reds clear
26 CONVERSION, FOLEY, 12-0. Much better kick from the Tahs pivot!
25 TRY, TAHS, FOLAU, 10-0. No ways!! He's done it again! After a passage of play where not much happened, Foley makes a half break and gets an offload to get the Tahs go-forward. They work it through some simple hands and pop inside to the ever present Folau who runs in the try! I hope you have him in your fantasy team!
20 Misfortune there for the Tahs, Beale puts in a solid kick that just rolls straight instead of sideways. Goodwork from Aidan Toua who makes sure that they go back for a scrum in the Tahs half.
18 The Tahs attack well after receiving the clearance kick! Phipps makes a break in the reds 22m but can't find anyone to offload to! Reds win a penalty at the breakdown and manage to relieve the pressure
17 Saia Fainga'a is penalized at the break down and the Tahs opt for touch instead of taking the three. Unfortunately Folau knocks on as he receives it running at pace!
15 Penalty to Reds at the scrum and they clear! But Tahs get the ball back in possession! And begin to build some phases.
12 Adam Ashley-Cooper bursts clear and bolts 30m. He is isolated though as he hangs on instead of looking to pass to Folau on his outside. The Tahs win a penalty at the scrum though and kick for touch.
9 The Reds are losing ground on attack, a little flat footed with one-off runners. The Waratahs defence is very good, pushing up and getting in the face of the first receiver.
7 The Reds looking to strike straight back here as they steal a 'Tahs line-out and ply the pressure in the home side's 22.
5 The conversion is missed by Foley. That's a bad miss from almost right in front.
4 TRY, WARATAHS, FOLAU! 5-0. Whoa! That's Folau's fourth try in two weeks! Beale makes a half-break after a flat pass from Bernard Foley and the full-back is on hand to collect the offload and score!
2 Here we go! Quade Cooper kicks us off. Beale returns, sparking a bit of kick tennis. James Horwill takes a big hit early on. Will Genia overcooks his kick which goes straight out.
Waratahs news: Waratahs boss Michael Cheika has made just one change his to side for Saturday's clash with the Reds in Sydney. Former Springbok back-row Jacques Potgieter will start in place of Will Skelton at lock, with the 21-year-old dropping down to the bench.

I watched Bath v Saracens last Friday and was very impressed with George Ford and how well he controlled that game for Bath. I would love to see him play a big role in the autumn internationals and I hope Stuart Lancaster starts him for at least two of the four Tests.
