Benetton Treviso v Scarlets - RaboDirect PRO12 match preview
Treviso face the league leaders this weekend as they tackle Scarlets in the RaboDirect PRO12 action on Saturday.
Jordan Williams, the Scarlets' versatile and talented young back, gets a start at full-back after his impressive form away in Connacht which won him a man of the match performance on his league debut. Liam Williams moves to the wing.
Gareth Maule, last year's Scarlets vice-captain, comes into the centre partnership with Jon Davies who switches to inside centre. At outside half, Rhys Priestland commands the game with Gareth Davies, who achieved his 50th appearance for the region last week, getting his opportunity at scrum-half. Tavis Knoyle moves to the bench.
Sione Timani partners with George Earle in the second row and Matthew Rees starts at hooker. Johnathan Edwards, the experienced Scarlets back-rower, comes back into the starting line-up with Josh Turnbull moving to six and captain Rob McCusker at number eight. Kristain Phillips, the Scarlets new wing signing, returns from injury to the bench.
Head coach Franco Smith, compared to last week's starting XV, changes only Tommaso Iannone, who is the only player who has not played for Italy yet.
Smith has made changes in the pack. Michele Rizzo is loosehead prop with Lorenzo Cittadini back as tighthead prop. Captain Antonio Pavanello and Valerio Bernaḅ are forming a completely new second row, and Simone Favaro returns in the back row.

What they said...
Scarlets coach Simon Easterby
"We clearly weren't good enough last weekend and the players knew across the board when they came into work on Monday," commented Easterby.
"But we've parked that frustration and moved on and the great thing about the league is that just a few days later you have the chance to put things right and we've been working hard on our preparations and challenge against Treviso.
"Playing at home, Treviso will have the ability to confront you in the pack and we are disappointed with the way we dealt with the Ospreys and that's been a big part of our focus this week and our forwards want to rectify some of the mistakes of last weekend."
