Dai Young: Wants to secure home quarter-final clash
Tom Varndell: Will be on the hunt for tries as Wasps chase a bonus point
London Wasps have named a strong starting line-up for their Amlin Challenge Cup clash with Italian outsiders Mogliano at Adams Park on Saturday.
Wasps know that a bonus-point victory will be good enough to secure a place in the quarter-finals of the competition with one Pool 3 game to spare.
And director of rugby Dai Young has included several first-teamers in his side, with the likes of skipper Hugo Southwell, England flanker James Haskell and star wing Tom Varndell all featuring.
Nick Robinson comes back in at fly-half following the Aviva Premiership win against Bath last time out, with Italy international Andrea Masi named at outside centre.
Tim Payne comes into the front row along with Tom Lindsay, who starts at hooker.
Mogliano have yet to register a point in the competition and were thrashed 59-12 when Wasps visited Stadio Maurizio Quaggia in week two.
Wasps: 15 Hugo Southwell (c), 14 Jack Wallace, 13 Andrea Masi, 12 Chris Bell, 11 Tom Varndell, 10 Nick Robinson, 9 Charlie Davies, 8 Billy Vunipola, 7 James Haskell, 6 Sam Jones, 5 Marco Wentzel, 4 James Cannon, 3 Phil Swainston, 2 Tom Lindsay, 1 Tim Payne.
Replacements: 16 Nathan Morris, 17 Zak Taulafo, 18 Will Taylor, 19 Jonathan Poff, 20 Matt Everard, 21 Jonah Holmes, 22 Tommy Bell, 23 Chris Mayor.
Mogliano: 15 Edoardo Padovani, 14 Giovanni Benvenuti, 13 Alessandro Onori, 12 Cristian Cerioni, 11 Vittorio Candiago, 10 Alejandro Canale, 9 Enrico Endrizzi, 8 Edoardo Candiago, 7 Andrea Ceccato, 6 Nicola Corbanese, 5 Jacopo Bocchi, 4 Federico Maso, 3 Massimiliano Ravalle, 2 Agustin Costa Repetto , 1 Gianluca Ceneda.
Replacements: 16 Ivan Gianesini, 17 Laert Naka, 18 Enrico Pavanello, 19 Meyer Swanepoel, 20 Silvio Orlando, 21 Alberto Lucchese, 22 Filippo Guarducci, 23 Enrico Ceccato.
"This is a game we will be expected to win and if we get our focus right there is no reason why we shouldn't.You have to do the basics well first before you can think about scoring tries and I don't expect the game to be won in the first 20 minutes," Young told his team's official website.
"Knowing we can qualify with maximum points is a motivation but our focus is on securing a home quarter-final which means that our trip to Rodney Parade (to face Newport Gwent Dragons) will be massive next week whatever happens tomorrow."
