Newport-Gwent Dragons v Northampton: LV= Cup match preview
Newport Dragons and Northampton Saints will look to overturn their defeats from last weekend when they meet at Rodney Parade on Sunday.
Dragons fell to a 36-15 defeat to Bath last time out and have named a strong side as they look to improve after their opening game in this season's LV= Cup.
Tom Prydie steps in at full-back, replacing injured Hallam Amos, with captain Ashley Smith reverting back to his usual position at inside centre.
At No 10, Dan Evans starts and he will be alongside Wayne Evans, in his first start for the Dragons after a back injury.
Adam Jones, leuan Jones, Nic Cudd, Hugh Gustafson and Owen Evans retain their spots in the starting line-up.
Saints meanwhile suffered a narrow 31-30 loss to Harlequins at Franklin's Gardens and Jim Mallinder, director of rugby, knows the tough challenge that awaits his Northampton side.
With the agonisingly close loss to Quins still fresh, Mallinder knows the Saints have plenty to prove this weekend against the Dragons.
The clash will also be back rower Phil Dowson's hundredth in the Saints jersey, after joining the club from Newcastle in 2009.

What they said...
Dragons scrum half Wayne Evans:
"It's good to be back playing at Rodney Parade with my first competitive start this season. I look forward to playing alongside Dan Evans and in front of the Dragons faithful."
Northampton Saints director of rugby Jim Mallinder:
"It is a big game for us and we have been approaching it in a focused, positive way.
"We've never taken the LV= Cup lightly and Sunday is going to be no different. It's never easy to play in Wales, but we're going to be up for it and I'm looking for an 80-minute performance to get us back to winning ways."
