The Stormers have been forced into two changes ahead of their South African derby with the Sharks at Newlands.
Injuries to Elton Jantjies and Jaco Taute mean youngster Gary van Aswegan and Damian de Allende both start.
Van Aswegen will wear the No 10 shirt, while de Allende comes in on the wing, with Joe Pietersen switching to full-back.
On the bench, former SA Sevens international Cheslin Kolbe and Gerbrandt Grobler are poised to make their debuts, while Kurt Coleman will provide cover to van Aswegen.
Winger Sean Robinson will make his first Super Rugby start for the Sharks in Cape Town.
Robinson, who graduated from the Under-19s side, replaces Odwa Ndungane in one of two changes made by last season's beaten finalists.
Springbok No 8 Ryan Kankowski also comes into the side, with Jacques Botes ruled out with a broken arm. Marcell Coetzee shuffles across from No 8 to the flank, with Jean Deysel providing cover on the bench.
Stormers: 15 Joe Pietersen, 14 Damian de Allende, 13 Juan de Jongh, 12 Jean de Villiers (capt), 11 Gio Aplon, 10 Gary van Aswegen, 9 Dewaldt Duvenage, 8 Duane Vermeulen, 7 Michael Rhodes, 6 Siya Kolisi, 5 Andries Bekker, 4 De Kock Steenkamp, 3 Frans Malherbe, 2 Deon Fourie, 1 Steven Kitshoff.
Replacements: 16 Martin Bezuidenhout, 17 Pat Cilliers, 18 Gerbrandt Grobler, 19 Nizaam Carr, 20 Louis Schreuder, 21 Kurt Coleman, 22 Cheslin Kolbe.

What they said...
Stormers head coach Allister Coetzee
"We are under no illusions that it is a tough task. The Sharks are an incredibly good team.
"It's vital that we get our campaign back on course with a positive result from the match this weekend - we need to get the points against the Sharks."
Sharks coach John Plumtree
"Sean Robinson is a youngster in his second year at the Sharks academy and looks to have all the attributes of being a really good footballer.
"It's a great opportunity for him and we've placed no pressure on him to have a big game, rather that he goes out and enjoys the experience. We're hoping he has a good game and that he plays many more games for the Sharks.
"Losing Jacques Botes with the form that he was in is a big blow for us, but we're very happy to have Jean Deysel coming back in. He was playing really good rugby before he got injured and his return is a timely boost for us. Against the Stormers you need that physicality and he'll come off the bench and provide that."
