Southern Kings have made two changes to their line-up ahead of Saturday's Super Rugby encounter with the Cheetahs in Port Elizabeth.

Experienced centre Andries Strauss has recovered from a shoulder injury to take his place in the starting line-up at No 12 after missing the past two weeks.

The only other change to Alan Solomons' starting XV sees SP Marais come in at full-back to replace George Whitehead, who drops to the bench.

Flanker Jacques Engelbrecht is back from an ankle injury to take his place on the bench in place of Devin Oosthuizen while the only other switch sees Rynier Bernardo included amongst the replacements.

Meanwhile Cheetahs coach Naka Drotske has made just one change to the side which beat the Reds 27-13 last weekend.

The switch sees winger Raymond Rhule demoted to the bench with Ryno Benjamin promoted to the starting line-up.

Benjamin will start on the right wing with Willie le Roux changing to their left hand side as Drotske's Cheetahs look for back-to-back wins.

Victory could see the Cheetahs strengthen their play-off ambitions and leapfrog the Crusaders who lost to league leaders Chiefs on Friday.

Cheetahs captain Adriaan Strauss

"I think we have done really well the last couple of weeks in the scrums and lineouts.

"We will have to take the Kings on up front and are looking forward to the challenge."
