Super Rugby: Brumbies v Hurricanes at Canberra Stadium
- Brumbies thwart Hurricanes
- Highlanders tower over Blues
- Comeback Reds see-off Rebels
- Bulls win to go clear
The ACT Brumbies take on Wellington-based Hurricanes at Canberra Stadium ideally placed to finish on top of the Australian conference.
They currently enjoy a five point lead over the Queensland Reds and will hope to extend that tally by recording another victory after seeing off Blues last week.
Meanwhile, the 'Canes are chasing a play-off position currently in ninth position on the table with 38 points - just four points behind the Crusaders and Blues who are in joint sixth spot.
The Brumbies have name unchanged line-up from that victory last weekend as they snapped a two-game losing streak at Eden park.
The men from Wellington will be boosted by the return of their captain, and centre, Conrad Smith as well as hooker Dane Coles who are back after spending time on the sidelines with injuries.
They have also recalled the services of 122kg lock James Broadhurst and loose forward Brad Shields, but have lost prop Jeffery Toomaga-Allen for the remainder of the season to a torn medial cruciate ligament.

What they said...
Brumbies coach Jake White
White has predicted that the Hurricanes will change from their usual expansive style of play to a more forward orientated game for this encounter.
"They got a return on the maul and pick and drive game in the A-zone and will bring up a couple of those big guys to try and do that this year again," said White.
"I'm assuming that they see a weakness there.
"By their selections it looks to me that's an area where they think they can have a crack at us."
