Italy v Argentina: Teams
At Stadio Olimpico, Saturday November 15, kick-off 3pm
Centre Matteo Pratichetti has been drafted into the Italy side for Saturday's Test against World Cup semi-finalists Argentina in Turin.
The powerful Calvisano outside centre, who replaces the injured Gonzalo Canale, is one of three changes to the side which narrowly lost 30-20 to Australia in Padua on Saturday.
"He has the right physique for this game," coach Nick Mallett said.
Forwards Salvatore Perugini and Leonardo Ghiraldini have been dropped to the bench with Saracens duo Fabio Ongaro and Matias Aguero taking their places to make up an all-Premiership front row with Gloucester's Carlos Nieto.
"For a game like this against Argentina, it is a necessity to have more front rowers available," Mallett said.
"I have decided to rely on six front rowers, all the props and hookers in the squad will be on the pitch or the bench."
Fly-half Andrea Marcato will also start after shaking off the knock he picked up against Australia - centre Mirco Bergamasco continues on the wing.
Italy, who finished bottom of the 2008 Six Nations despite beating Scotland, play the Pacific Islanders in Reggio Emilia on November 22 in the last of their three home autumn Tests.
Argentina coach Santiago Phelan has made four changes to his team to face Italy at the Stadio Olimpico.
Two new wingers, Federico Martin Aramburu and Rafael Carballo, will replace Francisco Leonelli and Horacio Agulla in an attempt to give Argentina more spark than they had in their 12-6 loss to France last weekend.
In the pack Phelan has gone for a more physical approach to combat Italy's equally powerful set of forwards.
Rimas Alvarez Kairelis moves from second row to openside flanker, meaning Esteban Lozada will now partner Patricio Albacete in the engine room, with Sale's Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe controlling matters from number eight.
The team will once more be captained by Felipe Contepomi, who along with Juan Martin Hernandez, will be responsible for getting the outside backs running at the Italians.
