Shaw: Back on the bench
Simon Shaw and Joe Worsley are included in Wasps' squad for Sunday's clash with Leeds, which is live on Sky Sports.
Director of rugby Tony Hanks is able to name the British and Irish Lions pair in his 23-man party while there are four changes to the starting XV that managed to pick up a bonus-point win over Gloucester last weekend.
Dominic Waldouck is sidelined through injury so Lachlan Mitchell and Steve Kefu form a new-look centre partnership.
Ben Jacobs also misses out while Gabriel Bocca returns to his favoured position of loosehead prop in place of England international Tim Payne.
Worsley, however, has been made available by national team manager Martin Johnson for the Guinness Premiership fixture.
Having overcome a metatarsal injury, Shaw takes a seat on the bench alongside Tom Varndell - the winger having been rested for the trip to Kingsholm after he'd played every minute of competitive rugby so far this season.
"It is great for Wasps to have Joe Worsley back from England camp this weekend and gives him the platform to earn a place in the Autumn test matches," said Hanks.
"Similarly we are really pleased to see Simon Shaw back in the Wasps mix ahead of this fixture.
"Gabriel Bocca also has the chance to make a return to his favoured position, where he played very well against Northampton, and Chris Whitehead picks up a first inclusion in the match 23."
Rock-bottom Leeds, meanwhile, make three changes to their pack for the tough trip to Adams Park.
Australian prop Gareth Hardy replaces Tommy McGee, Tongan hooker Vili Ma'asi comes in for Phil Nilsen while in the second row Erik Lund takes over from Phil Murphy, who is left out of the matchday 23 completely.
Rhys Oakley and Jonny Hepworth are drafted onto the bench after impressing in action for the A team. Henry Fa'afili is the other player to miss out.
Leeds have found life tough going on their return to the top flight and have managed just three points from their six league outings so far.
