Matt Toomua will return at fly-half for the Brumbies for the visit of the Sharks on Saturday.

Toomua has been sidelined since damaging ligaments in his knee, but he has been passed fit to return - with Christian Lealiifano moving to inside centre and Pat McCabe switching to the wing.

That means Joe Tomane, who scored twice in the win over the Highlanders, drops to the bench.

There is a further change in the pack with Ruaidhri Murphy replacing Dan Palmer, who has been ruled out with a cold.

The Sharks have made three changes of personnel for the trip to Canberra.

Steven Sykes, JP Pietersen and Fred Michalak come in to the side following the loss to the Waratahs - with Tim Whitehead switching to inside centre.

There is also a place on the bench for back-rower Jean Deysel, who has teamed up with the squad as injury cover.
