Ieuan Jones: Looking to shine for Newport-Gwent Dragons

It is the Dragons' young guns who dominate the starting line-up to face fellow Welsh region the Ospreys at Rodney Parade on Saturday.

Scrum-half Rhys Downes, on loan from Newport RFC, gets a place on the Newport Gwent bench. He will be joined by Pat Leach and Aaron Coundley, who both return from injury.

Matthew Pewtner will make his first start of the season after also returning from injury.

Meanwhile, Steve Tandy, Ospreys head coach, has named his team to take on the Dragons with Rhys Webb set to lead the side for the first time.

"Growing up, captaining your local team is always something that you dream of doing so hopefully I can lead by example, and put in a real captain's performance.

"I'm really looking forward to the next couple of games. I haven't had as much game time this season as I would have hoped, and when you get the opportunity to pull on the shirt it's up to you to take your chance.

"I'm just really excited to get back on the pitch and hopefully getting plenty of minutes under my belt so that I can hopefully kick on from there."
