Glasgow Warriors will hand elite development scrum-half Sean Kennedy a start in Friday's RaboDirect PRO12 clash against Leinster.

With Henry Pyrgos and Niko Matawalu both away on international duty and Chris Cusiter and Murray McConnell injured, Kennedy will get the chance to showcase his talents - with Gala's George Graham brought in as cover on bench.

Kennedy will partner the returning Scotland No 10 Ruaridh Jackson at half back, while centre Peter Horne and winger DTH Van Der Merwe also start in the backs.

Up front, Pat MacArthur takes over the hooking duties - with a place for Moray Low on the bench.

Leinster will welcome back Sean O'Brien for the trip to the Warriors.

O'Brien will make his first appearance of the season for the province, forming an all-Ireland back-row alongside Shane Jennings and Kevin McLaughlin.

Isa Nacewa and Ian Madigan will also return to action, while Aaron Dundon makes his first appearance at hooker since the opening weekend.

What they said...

Glasgow Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend

"It's certainly unusual to have all our four scrum-halves unavailable at the same time but I've been very impressed with Sean since he joined us.

"His work ethic and attitude in training are excellent and, even with those other players available, he would be pushing for a starting place.

"George has come in and been very professional in his approach to training and it is great experience for him as he has impressed a lot of people this year with his performances for Gala."
