Delon Armitage is on the mark for Toulon
Delon Armitage crossed twice as Toulon enjoyed a five-try romp over French rivals Montpellier in their Heineken Cup clash.
An entertaining game at the Stade Mayol saw Pierrick Gunther, Mathieu Bastereaud and South African lock Bakkies Botha also score for the hosts, who go top of Pool 6 with the bonus-point win.
Flanker Gunther was first to go over for the home side just 15 minutes in following a Jonny Wilkinson grubber-kick.
Botha, making his Heineken Cup debut, then took a neat offload from Vincent Martin to finished off a good move and put his side in control before the break, Wilkinson adding the two for an 18-3 lead.
Former England full-back Armitage went over in the right corner soon after the break to extend the lead before adding the fourth try on 65 minutes, Wilkinson booting a second conversion after returning to teh field following a clash of heads.
Mamuka Gorgodze scored a late consolation with eight minutes left for the visitors but there was still time for replacement centre Mathieu Bastareaud to complete the scoring three minutes from time, Australian Matt Giteau adding the extras.
