Pat McCabe: Believes England will be favourites when they face Australia at Twickenham
Australia centre Pat McCabe admits England will be favourites when they face each other at Twickenham on Saturday.
England were boosted by a comfortable 54-12 victory over Fiji in their opening autumn international at the weekend.
In contrast, the Wallabies were beaten 33-6 by France to leave Stuart Lancaster's side as favourites and McCabe found it hard to disagree with them.
"England are a team who know what they want to do at different stages and they're very effective," he said.
"The Poms would have to be favourites because of the way they played against Fiji. They were outstanding while we were extremely poor against France."
Meanwhile, McCabe has targeted opposite number Brad Barritt and his centre partner Manu Tuilagi as key figures to stop if Australia are to defeat England.
"I haven't played against Manu, but I played against Brad when he was playing in South Africa," he added.
"They're two very physical guys who are extremely effective at getting them over the gainline at first phase.
"A lot of England's game rolls on from that so as centres we'll have to be really physical to stop them."
