Steve Diamond elated as Sale pick up three points in relegation battle
The game showed the measure of both teams - both under pressure but both wanting to play. It was good for the neutral and 33-33 is a good result.

Sale Sharks boss Steve Diamond was thrilled with his team after they secured three crucial points in the 33-33 draw at London Irish.
The visitors picked up two for the draw plus a bonus point for scoring four tries in an enthralling basement battle at the Madejski.
That puts them eight points clear of bottom side London Welsh with just three games of the season remaining.
"We're very happy with that," said Diamond. "There were glaring opportunities that we missed and we'll have to correct that next time.
"For both sides you could say that the defensive coaches need to earn their money during the week.
"We let the game slip in the last quarter after going clear at half-time but we showed good resilience. The game showed the measure of both teams - both under pressure but both wanting to play. It was good for the neutral and 33-33 is a good result.
"Welsh were close to Bath on Saturday but we can't worry about them now. Never before has the bottom club at Christmas survived and we want to change that.
"We have been good at home, we have had a great result getting three points away from home here, and we will take having Gloucester and Wasps in our last two games."
Irish are 12 points clear and all-but safe but coach Brian Smith was furious with his side for blowing an early 14-3 lead.
"We got such a handy lead to begin with and then sat back and admired the good work that we'd done," said Smith.
"We couldn't close out the first half and then got bitten in the backside after half-time. It's a little bit embarrassing to score tries like that at the start and then go to sleep.
"Defensively we were a shambles, which is disappointing compared to last week (against Worcester) when we could have played for three hours and not conceded a try."Heineken Cup. Click here to bet.
