Jonny May and Henry Trinder celebrate at Kingsholm
Gloucester made it six Amlin Challenge Cup Pool One victories from six with a 36-16 home win over Mont de Marsan.
The Cherry and Whites ran in six tries at Kingsholm on Saturday afternoon to complete a win which guarentees them a home quarter-final in the competition they last won back in 2006.
Top 14 side Monte de Marsan fought gamely in the opening 40 minutes and were level at 16-16 at the halfway point.
Jonny May scored the first of his two tries in the ninth minute and Charlie Sharples also crossed the whitewash in an opening half which saw Yann Brethous respond for the visitors.
But Gloucester upped their game after the break with Harry Trinder scoring twice in the space of four minutes after a second penalty from Billy Twelvetrees.
May then rounded off the victory with a 78th minute try.
