JJ Hanrahan: Two tries on first start for Munster
Munster got their RaboDirect PRO12 campaign back on track with a 29-3 victory over Zebre at Thomond Park.
The Irish outfit had lost their two previous matches in the competition but a youthful-looking side proved too strong for the struggling Italians who have now lost all six of their games this term.
Zebre were stubborn opponents in the first half and went into the interval level at 3-3 after Daniel Halangahu's 39th-minute penalty had cancelled out Ian Keatley's 26th-minute effort.
But it was one-way traffic in the second half as Munster ran in four tries to pick up a bonus point.
JJ Hanrahan, 20, celebrated his first start at centre with the opening try in the 46th minute and a further touchdown on 67 combined with a fine all-round display earned him the man-of-the-match award.
Felix Jones (56), who jinked past four defenders in an eye-catching surge, and Luke O'Dea (76) also crossed for Munster, while Keatley converted the first three tries to total 11 points.
