Ieuan Jones: Bagged two tries for the visitors in Italy
Jevon Groves: Sent off in the 30th minute of Newport's 33-0 victory
The Newport-Gwent Dragons overcame the first-half dismissal of Jevon Groves to run out 33-0 winners over Mogliano Rugby in the Amlin Challenge Cup.
The Dragons, who opted to remain in Italy throughout the week following their Pro12 clash against Treviso, were in control throughout, outscoring their opponents four tries to none.
Wales Under-20 international Ieuan Jones bagged two of Newport's tries, the result looking all the more impressive following Groves' 30th-minute sending off.
The Dragons were effectively out of side by half-time courtesy of a 21-0 lead, however, they were down to 14 men after blindside flanker Groves was sent from the field of play against the part-timers.
Jones' second score four minutes after the break ended any slim hopes Mogliano had of a comeback before Tom Prydie secured the bonus point with 10 minutes remaining.
The Italians have conceded 20 tries in the pool and are still looking for their first victory as they prepare to face the Dragons in the second leg of this double header at Rodney Parade next week.
