Sam Oldham put in a solid performance in finishing seventh at the Glasgow World Cup event on Saturday.
The Sky Academy Sports Scholar helped Great Britain to the team bronze medal in Stuttgart last week and joined team-mate Dan Purvis in the individual all around in Scotland.
Purvis took the silver medal whilst Oldham, in just his third event since suffering an ankle injury shortly before the World Championships, ended 2013 with another encouraging showing.
The highlights for the 20-year-old from Nottingham were on the high bar where he scored 14.233 with a difficult routine and on the floor where despite a minor penalty he recorded the joint third best score from the judges with 14.666.
A final score of 86.331 saw Oldham finish just behind Masayoshi Yamamoto of Japan in seventh.
His focus will now turn to 2014 and a return to Glasgow for the Commonwealth Games next summer.
