Lucy Garner could be set to ride in Britain's most prestigious women's road race, the Women's Tour, after her Giant-Shimano team were placed within the top ten in the UCI's provisional rankings.
As such the team, who were ranked seventh, receive an automatic invitation to compete in class one events, including the Women's Tour, during the 2014 season as well as the World Cup events, which will include the top 20 ranked teams.
The rankings are based on the performances of each team's top four riders last season in addition to any points collected at the world team time trial championships.
The Women's Tour will take place in May with another Briton Lizzie Armitstead also in line to appear with her Boels-Dolmas outfit ranked third.
Dutch side Rabo Liv Women top the rankings thanks in no small part to having world and Olympic champion Marianne Vos amongst their squad.
