World No 7 Lee has been suspended by the WPBSA pending the results of an investigation into his 4-2 Premier League defeat to John Higgins in Malvern last Thursday.
The match was played only a week after Lee had been told he would not face criminal charges over match-fixing allegations dating back to 2010.
Lee, who has denied any wrongdoing, had been scheduled to take on Mark Allen in Penzance and the other match that night between Neil Robertson and Stuart Bingham will now be played at the Guildford Spectrum on 25 October.
A statement from Matchroom Sport read: "With just one match to be played - Neil Robertson v Stuart Bingham - it was felt that this did not represent sufficient value for money for the people of Penzance as well as the viewers watching on Sky Sports at home.
"All ticket holders can now seek full refunds from their point of purchase.
"Matchroom Sport will use their best endeavours to make sure that the Premier League returns to Penzance in 2013."
