A great year
Time to get fit

If I get to do half the cool things this year that I did in 2007 I will be a very happy man, hopefully the rest of the world hasn't been put off by what they've seen of my music and acting skills!

Quotes of the week
First things first Happy New Year everyone!
The holiday period has been good to me and I have to say I had a great New Years to go with a very pleasant Christmas.
I started off in my local on New Years Eve, as you do, and then it was off to a bar in Esher before everyone came back to mine for a little house party and lots of merriment.
In previous years I've felt a bit worse for wear on New Years day so I thought I'd take it easy this time (obviously easier said than done!) and just chill out which worked out pretty well because I didn't feel dreadful the next day like I have done in the past.
I think my one New Years resolution this year will be to get a bit fitter and lose a couple of pounds.
The problem is I tend to go mental for about a month and half, lose a load of weight and then just put it back on again by eating rubbish and drinking loads of beer!
Having said that I don't really eat unhealthily or anything I just think I have a poor metabolism, but I'll definitely be hitting the running machine a bit more this year, and if my ankle ever recovers I'll start playing some football again too.
Looking back 2007 was a really good year for me and I got to do some really cool stuff, but playing football with John Terry has to be the highlight.
I loved making a single with Leeroy because he was just such a top bloke and even though Goal 3 was a long day it was a great experience, but just because of the Chelsea factor having a kick about with JT was the stand out thing.
If I get to do half the cool things this year that I did in 2007 I will be a very happy man, hopefully the rest of the world hasn't been put off by what they've seen of my music and acting skills!
I'm sure there will be more junket's this year because these things just seem to crop up, which is great because when you get to meet people like Ben Kingsley it's an absolute touch and a real honour.
Chelsea have had a pretty decent Christmas period as well but we will miss Essien massively when the African Nations Cup starts and obviously Drogba as well.
We've been linked with Nicolas Anelka and I would love to see him at the Bridge. I think him and Drogba upfront together would be awesome!
No disrespect to Bolton but he's scored 11 goals for them this season which just proves he's world class and I'm sure he would score a shed load for Chelsea.
Michael Ballack has been in great form as well recently and in the last few games he has shown everyone that he is the world class player we all knew he was. I think it's fair to say he was pretty poor last season but he looks brilliant at the moment and I'm really pleased for him.
Right I'm off to hit the running machine!
Later,
