The dog house

I've ended up with green paint on all my walls and I've ruined the only short sleeve shirt in my cupboard!

Quotes of the week
We were a bit short of numbers in our weekly meeting. Tom was off sick, Graham was out on a shoot, Rocket was running late and Steve... well he just hadn't turned up!
After initially finding it quite funny we started to get worried when he wasn't picking up his phone either.
We then realised that the last time we had all seen him was on Monday night when he was a bit merry and on his way home by himself.
At about 11.30 the office doors burst open and a dishevelled Steve walked in shaking his head 'I've had a hell of a morning' he said. Naturally we all ignored him and carried on with the meeting
Eventually we gave him a chance to explain and he revealed that he had passed out when he got home shortly after having told his girlfriend to get a taxi to his house to celebrate their anniversary!
After banging on the front door for an hour and a half in the cold his poor girlfriend gave up trying to wake him and went home! Needless to say he's now in the dog house.
"I just didn't hear anything," he said. "None of my alarms, nothing and then suddenly I woke up and it was 10 in the morning! I feel really bad about it."
Steve wasn't the only crew member feeling bad though after Trev's mum gave a damning verdict on his performance as Chewbacca on this weeks show.
"Was that you in that monkey thing on Saturday?" She asked. "Yeah it was," replied Trev. "Oh dear," she said!
Still at least his efforts on Saturday night were appreciated as he went to a fancy dress party as The Hulk.
The theme was 80s on screen characters and Trev thought going as the man in green would require the least effort... in retrospect he admitted it wasn't the best idea!
"I didn't want to spend too much money so I thought if I go as the Hulk all I'd need to do is buy a tube of body paint and tear up some clothes.
"Instead I've ended up with green paint on all my walls and I've ruined the only short sleeve shirt in my cupboard!"
Trev wasn't the only one left fuming at weekend though after Chris' girlfriend pulled the plug on his night out with James Beattie and Billy Sharp!
The Sheffield United duo were down in Bournemouth and had invited Chris along, but his missus' wasn't having any of it!
He eventually made peace with the fact he wasn't going and arranged a night out at his local with his girlfriend and another a couple.
He was feeling good about things and then his Saturday night suffered another blow... the couple couldn't find a babysitter so brought their kid around for a nice cosy night in!
The five of them got an Indian take away and sat in front of the box for a pleasant evening... we wonder what Billy and James were doing!?
See you next week!
