Pain in the back...
Last updated: 26th February 2009
In stark contrast it was all smiles in Chris' house this week after he became an uncle for the first time. His smile did fade a little though when he realised that while his sister was married and his younger brother had produced a grandson, he has yet to do anything to make his parents really proud.

Quotes of the week
Carling Cup fever is gripping the office this week... well sort of!
The heavy Spurs contingent within the crew are naturally all excited about Sunday's showpiece final, with every one of them heading to Wembley with the exception of Graham.
Despite being a Spurs fan Graham has been to Upton Park to watch West Ham play more times than he has been to White Hart Lane this year.
We did wonder at one stage if he had decided to switch allegiances, but it turns out that the only reason he isn't going on Sunday is because he put his back out trying to pick his baby up.
Now we didn't really need any more ammo to give him stick about his age, but he pretty much put it on a plate for us! We think Chris summed it up best when he said, "You really are ageing at a rapid rate aren't you?"
We did have some sympathy for him though when he revealed that he spent the next four hours lying flat out on his back at a christening!

That is unless you count jumping out in front of the Soccerette live on TV every week!
Meanwhile, the office was split over whether or not Titanic was a good film after Dave let slip that, not only had he watched it at the weekend, he had really enjoyed it too.
Chris agreed it was a good movie, but Baby Elvis wasn't convinced, while Steve took the conversation off in a completely new direction when he asked, "What's Kate Winslet's problem?" after her winning speech at the Oscars.
Unfortunately none of us could come up with a suitable answer.
The other big talking point centred on Gail Trimble, who has been hailed a genius in the media after pretty much single handily winning University Challenge.
It got us thinking about who we would send on the show if, erm, we were a University...
Bobbie, Rocket and James got the most votes based on the fact that it would be hilarious to see Jeremy Paxman's reaction with some of the answers they would come out with.
James is the one who when hearing someone talking about salmonella asked is that what you used to get in school - no James that was semolina, and Rocket has already been revealed on the show (a while back) as not being able to spell Towel.
Bobbie meanwhile maintained that his "general knowledge is actually good".
Unfortunately, going out first on the Weakest Link doesn't scream great general knowledge!
See you next week.
