After eight weeks off it's business as usual in the Soccer AM, Office which is why it should come as no surprise that someone will be Taking One for the Team this Saturday!

At the beginning of the season we gave our predictions for the year ahead, including 'who will be the first person to Take One for the Team'. Dev predicted it would be Trev because 'he's got it coming'. Unfortunately for Trev, he was spot on.

Trev made a few errors in his factual piece about the Premier League, as spotted by some eagle-eyed viewers, and will have to pay the ultimate price as the rest of the crew take shots at his backside.

Trev insists his source was to blame for the mistakes... but then trusting a man down the pub known as 'Stats Man Dave' probably wasn't the smartest thing to do!

Meanwhile, Baby Elvis has been maintaining that there is nothing wrong with wearing a bit of tinted moisturiser on air, despite the abuse he has been getting.

Chris in particular can't quite grasp why anyone would want to wear the stuff, while Simon also piled in with a few choice words before Baby Elvis finally hit back:

"I don't know what you're laughing at," he told Simon. "Look at the bags under your eyes!"

Trial

In other news we've taken on three new recruits on a trial basis, but in the spirit of Soccer Saturday they will only be referred to as 'A Trialist' in this blog.

A Trialist number one did the unthinkable by having a holiday booked during the football season, but recovered after offering to cancel it... don't worry we let him go!

As usual there was lots going on at the weekend involving the crew, some which isn't suitable for print (mainly involving Bobbie), some you really wouldn't be interested in (Rocket getting his bathroom tiled) and the rest...

Top of 'the rest' is the news that Chris is in the dog house after teaching his young nephew the word 'vaginal' along with the 'rock on' sign to accompany it.

Worse still was the moment his nephew chose to reveal what Uncle Chris had taught him... Sunday lunch in the pub with the entire family including his sister-in-law's parents!

Crocodile Hunter

Elsewhere, Disco Dave had his party grin on as he walked into a fancy dress bash dressed as Steve Irwin only to discover that three other people had also chosen to go as the former 'Crocodile Hunter'.

Trev had no such problems as he and a friend went as conjoined twins. Their costume? Two t-shirts sewn together!

Needless to say not a lot of effort went into coming up with the idea, but Trev has bigger things on his mind, like moving in with Tubes!

The boys have been busy looking for a new place to live and we're sure that they will have lots of stories to tell over the coming weeks... watch this space!
