Quotes of the week
So the big news this week is that Trev and Tubes have moved in together.
Trev had been living with Dave before the smiling assassin walked out on him to shack up with his girlfriend, but he's found a true friend in Tubes!
It's fair to say that the move didn't go that smoothly as Trev attempted to transport the contents of his an entire flat using a Fiat Punto! After the seventh trip though he decided enough was enough:
"I ended up leaving a TV and microwave behind because I couldn't be bothered to make another trip."
We're sure the next tenant won't be complaining... unless they have a better TV and microwave that is...
Camping
James' weekend didn't exactly go to plan either. A romantic getaway to the country with his girlfriend ended up with the pair camping in his garden instead!
Things were going swimmingly when James gallantly offered to fill his girlfriend's car up at the petrol station on route - unfortunately he managed to snap the petrol cap off the tank in the process.
Needless to say but the local Esso garage was as far as they got!
Baby Elvis celebrated England's Ashes win like the rest of us on Sunday from the comfort of his living room. But it could have been so different...
After a heavy night on Saturday he decided it was a good idea to turn his phone off so he could sleep in on Sunday - nothing wrong with that, except when he turned his phone back on at midday on Sunday he had 10 missed calls and texts offering him a ticket to the Oval!
It's not quite like missing out on the World Cup final but it's up there...
Guinness
It wasn't all doom and gloom this weekend though and Lisa and Simon definitely made the most of their days off.
Lisa headed to Dublin and took the 'when in Rome' approach by going straight to the Guinness factory where she got to 'press the buttons to start it all'. What she started, we're still not sure.
While Simon proved that he really is a teen of the '80s (not a child like the rest of us) after rocking out to the likes of Bananarama, Heaven 17 and Sister Sledge at the 80's Rewind Festival!
It doesn't exactly sound like V Festival or Glastonbury, but Simon insists he'll be going back next year... Gloria Gaynor, a field full of women and I Will Survive - who wouldn't want to go to that!?
See you on Saturday!
