After years of messing up punch lines, accents and dressing up as girls we've finally hit the big time... well sort of...

On Monday night Chris, Rocket, Tubes, Adam and new boy Lavvers were busy on the set of their new Vampire movie - Blood Army!

Tubes of course is an old hand when it comes to the silver screen having 'starred' in Goal 2, but for the rest of the boys it was an altogether new experience, and one they didn't enjoy.

"It was freezing and I had to wear this short sleeve shirt," said Baby Elvis. "On top of that I didn't get home until 2am and I was only in it for ten seconds!"

Apparently there wasn't a lot of acting involved as the boys were cast to play a group of lads out on a stag night, the twist... they get attacked by female vampires!

After having their necks sucked on for a few hours, they left the set in the early hours of Tuesday morning, no doubt thinking there's nothing like a warm comfy studio!

Dave was also supposed to have a part in the film, but his girlfriend scuppered his plans by selfishly whisking him away to Belgium for the weekend as a surprise! Some people!

Away from vampires and film sets there's been a fair bit of beach ball humour floating around the office too!

Everton fan Simon in particular, has been revelling in it as you would expect, although we didn't let him enjoy it as much as he would have liked:

"So did anyone see anything funny at the weekend!?" he asked expectantly.

"I think I saw Martin O'Neil fall over," said Dave.

"Yeah and Everton got a point as well!" added Baby Elvis.

Simon's also being getting a bit of stick for the amount of time he spent talking to Ronni Ancona on Saturday.

The beautiful impressionist clearly made quite a...erm... impression on him and he was happy to comfort her when Alistair McGowan accidentally caught her in the face while trying to protect her from some flying balls in the car park!(See video on the right)

In other news, we may have unearthed another gem from the Soccer AM football academy as new boy Ashley made an impressive debut in Weirside's 4-2 win in the cup.

With the scores level at 2-2 he came off the bench in the second-half to bag the all important third - neatly rounding the keeper before slotting home.

Steve added the icing on the cake with a fourth, confirming our place in the next round. Happy days!

See you on Saturday!
