Who you gonna call?
A weekend of firsts

I guess the moral of the story is don't use unlicensed cabs because if you lose your phone in one you won't get it back... oh and they're dangerous.

Quotes of the week
Last week I had to endure the agony of a semi-final exit in the cup on penalties. This week I had to endure the agony of playing two games back to back, and it actually was agony!
The frozen pitches from a few weeks ago mean that Wearside Rovers are still trying to catch up on games like everyone else who plays on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
The double header meant that both matches were 60 minutes each as opposed to 90, but it was still tough going and I had to come off with about ten to go in the second game - which just goes to prove, cramp can get the best of us!
We lost our first game 4-2 - a few too many individual mistakes - and then drew the second game 1-1, so it wasn't the best day in all honesty, but we're still in with a good chance of winning the league.
Disaster
Saturday night was going a bit better but then ended in disaster when I left my phone in an unlicensed cab. I think it just slipped out of my pocket, but I was never gonna get it back so I guess the moral of the story is don't use unlicensed cabs because if you lose your phone in one you won't get it back... oh and they're dangerous.
It's the first time I've lost my phone and on the one hand it was quite nice not to be tied down to it, but that feeling passed pretty quickly. I don't think I realised how much I relied on it, but I've got a new phone now. It's about five centimetres long and looks a bit like a girl's phone, but I like it!
It turned out to be a weekend of firsts because I also tried my hand at Jenga! It's not a game that I would usually play but when I walked into the pub on Sunday it was there, so I thought I'd give it ago.
I learnt two things: 1) I'm completely rubbish at it. 2) The drunker you get the harder it becomes - not rocket science I know.
Despite that though, I somehow managed to find myself on the winning team, although I'm certain I had nothing to do with it.
Work experience
It was back to work on Tuesday, although this week has been a little bit different because my brother 'Big Ange' is doing work experience with us.
He's settled in quite well and Steve made his day when he took him along on a shoot to meet one of his heroes - Terry Nutkins!
Nutkins used to present The Really Wild Show and Big Ange was over the moon when he got to meet him. I'm actually a little gutted that I didn't get to go along as well!
Still there's always next time.

Tubes answers your questions
Tubes, if you had the choice to spend a day with Messi, Gerrard or Kaka, who would you choose? Jack Hamill
TUBES SAYS:That's an easy one Jack, Gerrard because he's the only one that can speak English!
Hi Tubes, I was wondering if you hadn't become a world famous TV personality would you have followed your dream and become a dancer? Having seen your YMCA video I think you could be a star.Allan Taylor
TUBES SAYS:Have you got it in for me Allan!? First you send that clip in to the show to embarrass me and now you're bringing it up here! How many times are you planning on stitching me up!? To answer your question though, no I've never considered becoming a dancer and having seen that video you know why. See you in Chicagos!
