Mr Sheen shines
A fast and furious week
Last updated: 27th March 2009
I eventually broke the silence with a question and he put on a fake English accent when he was answering. I'm guessing I didn't look too impressed because all of a sudden he looked as though he wanted to punch me.

Quotes of the week
We had some great guests on the show on Saturday and I thought Michael Sheen in particular was brilliant.
Both Jason McAteer and Paddy McGuinness have been on before and are always great value, but it was really interesting listening to Sheen talk about Brian Clough.
I don't know as much as I'd like about Clough, but I would like to find out a bit more and I'll definitely be going to see The Damned United in the cinema. I might even have a go at reading the book although I haven't read many books recently.
When I do get a chance I tend to read football autobiographies more than anything else. Both George Best's and Gazza's are brilliant. I also like the odd book about prisons!
I know it's a bit weird but I've always been intrigued by people who have been to jail, and those who have managed to write books always have interesting stories to tell. It's probably the reason I like Prison Break so much... well when it first came out anyway, I thought they stitched us up after the first series.
Dodgy results
Anyway, back to my week and Wearside Rangers were back on form after a couple of dodgy results. We won 1-0 on Saturday, but in truth it was a pretty poor game.
It was an all-round sluggish performance and I didn't have a great match, but like the pros say; 'it's all about grinding results out at this stage of the season'.
Things didn't improve that afternoon on the football front because Chelsea missed a golden opportunity to close the gap on Man Utd. Tottenham are turning into a bit of a bogey team for us and I was absolutely gutted by the result.
We probably played them at the wrong time because they seem to have come into a bit of form now. I think you've got to win these big games if you want to win the title, but hopefully we can get back on track after the international break.
Junket
Still it wasn't all doom and gloom last week because I did get to meet Vin Diesel!
The funniest thing about the whole junket was probably how long we went without saying anything. We just starred at each other instead. I'm not sure why either. Maybe we were just sussing each other out.
I eventually broke the silence with a question and he put on a fake English accent when he was answering. I'm guessing I didn't look too impressed because all of a sudden he looked as though he wanted to punch me.
I wasn't worried though because he wasn't as big as I thought he might be. Then again he was wearing all black which is supposed to be slimming.
Still, I reckon if it came down to it I could take him!

Tubes answers your questions
TUBES! You've got long hair; I've got my name on my underwear... oooohhhhhh... Damo Byrne! Alright mate, you're a great guy, and have fantastic lyrics, but what I want to know is if you could play for any Champions League team this year (besides the English ones) who would it be?Damo Byrne
TUBES SAYS:Damo, I like the rap but why have you got your name on your underwear!? To answer your question though the team I would play for would be Barcelona. They've got a great collection of the world's best players and maybe most importantly it's a great city to go out in.
Tubessssss! I think you're the funniest thing on TV! But what I want to know is what is your favourite type of Pizza?Peter Giles
TUBES SAYS:Ham, onion and sweetcorn are must toppings on any pizza in my opinion. I also love a good stuffed crust! Pizza Express' Sloppy Giuseppe pizzas always go down a treat as well. I was over the moon a few months ago when you could buy one for £2, but now they're back to their normal price so it's just the standard chicken and prawn for me.

Tubes, you seem like a guy who is pretty well up on his Disney films, but what I want to know is if Buzz Lightyear didn't know he was a toy, why did he never speak or move when humans were around?
