Tubes' Diary
One step closer
The "People's Champion" is back!

Kronenbourg 1664 is my beer of choice Lewis. It's like rocket fuel! Although I don't think I need to tell you that it should be enjoyed responsibly, and only once you are over 18!

Quotes of the week
It was my girlfriend's birthday on Saturday, so I naturally took her to the classiest establishment I could find... McCluskys in Kingston!
We had a brilliant night though and it made up for the England game against Slovakia on Saturday. Not because it was a poor game, but because I missed the first half!
I had my ticket in hand, but once again I was let down by public transport. Luckily three of the four goals came in the second half so I didn't miss all the action.
Rooney was in superb form again and I thought the whole team played really well, especially considering Heskey, Cole and Crouch all got injured.
Wednesday night against the Ukraine was the one that really mattered though and I managed to get to Wembley for kick-off this time. The game wasn't particularly spectacular but it was good to see John Terry get the winner and you can't argue with the result.
Five wins out of five is a record to be proud of at any level, but to do that in World Cup qualifiers is even more impressive. Only the Dutch and Spain have matched us in that respect after taking maximum points from all their qualifiers too - so that says it all really.
Hopefully we can put the group to bed in the next couple of games and start looking forward to South Africa.
Shopping
Back to the weekend and on Sunday I went to Sainsbury to do my weekly shop - which basically consists of a packet of chicken, prawns and some tortilla wraps.
It's not the longest shopping list in the world, but when your speciality is chicken in a tortilla wrap with a bit of salad cream, there's not much else you need!
Looking ahead to this week and I can't wait for Saturday to come because we've got an awesome line-up of guests.
Trevor Sinclair, who scored one of the best overhead kicks I've ever seen back in 1997 against Barnsley, is on the show along with The Rock and D12.
The Rock, or Dwayne Johnson as he prefers to be called these days, was great value when he came on last year and I'm sure I'll be able to impress D12 with my sick lyrics... although I should probably go and get some practice in just in case!

Tubes, you seem like a guy who is pretty well up on his Disney films, but what I want to know is if Buzz Lightyear didn't know he was a toy, why did he never speak or move when humans were around?Andrew Moran
TUBES SAYS:Isn't it obvious Andrew? He was just very shy!
Tubes you're my hero! But what I want to know is if you had to choose between England winning the World Cup or Chelsea picking up the Champions League, what would you decide?Peter Richards
TUBES SAYS:Great question Peter and a really tough one to be honest. But if I had to choose it would be the World Cup. I'm desperate to see Chelsea win the Champions League, but the World Cup is something that the whole country could enjoy.
