The Spa was great... Chelsea were even better!
Last updated: 10th April 2009
I have to admit I feared the worst when Liverpool took the lead through Fernando Torres, but luckily I was in a pub surrounded by the Irish Under 16's football team, so that distracted me a bit!

Quotes of the week
I've only got one word to describe Chelsea's performance against Liverpool on Wednesday night; brilliant!
It's not everyday you beat a team like Liverpool 3-1 in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, and it's probably the best I've seen us play all season.
I have to admit I feared the worst when Liverpool took the lead through Fernando Torres, but luckily I was in a pub surrounded by the Irish Under 16's football team, so that distracted me a bit!
I had planned to have a few beers with my dad and brother, but ended up talking to their entire squad for most of the 90 minutes. It wasn't what I had planned out to do, but it was still a great night... and obviously the result helped!
I wouldn't say that the tie is dead and buried because you just never know what could happen if Liverpool get an early goal, but it is strongly in our favour now.
And without tempting fate and looking too far ahead, if we do go through then it looks like we will be playing Barcelona in the semis after they thrashed Bayern Munich.
They look awesome right now, and if I'm honest I'm a bit worried about playing them if we do get through. There are so many strong teams in this year's Champions League though and whoever wins it this season is really going to deserve it.
Eventful
That was obviously the highlight of my week, but I've had a pretty eventful weekend as well.
We had a great line-up of guests on the show on Saturday and they didn't disappoint. The Rock was brilliant once again, and Trevor Sinclair was really interesting to listen to and a top bloke as well.
But as a rapper I was most looking forward to meeting D12. I was hoping to get a few tips from them, but I think in the end me and 'Big Ange' showed them a thing or two with our fast/slow rap.
I don't think they had ever seen anything like it. They might have had a couple of number one albums and more than few number one singles, but not one of them could make a bizarre vibrating sound with their mouth, so I think we all know who had the most musical talent in the studio on Saturday!
On Sunday I did what all good rappers do at the end of a long hard week... I visited a spa!
In truth it was a birthday present for my girlfriend, but I thought I'd treat myself as well. As well as a couple of massages I spent about 12 hours in various swimming pools with different jets and came back into work feeling top of the world.
Unfortunately I ruined all that good work on Wednesday night with a few too many beers and feel rotten now!
Back to square one I guess.
Later,

Tubes answers your questions
Step one, step two this is a question, for Tubes' comment section. Messy lyrics. Tubes you're a great bloke and a lyrical genius. But what I want to know is if you went for a kebab and the establishment had no curry sauce, what sauce would you have instead?Rob Ellis
TUBES SAYS:I don't think I've ever had curry sauce with a kebab, Rob, but I might try it in the future. In general I like to mix a bit mayonnaise with some ketchup and then add some hot sauce on top! I love my chillies, especially jalapeños which are da bomb!
Tubes, you're a legend and a really funny bloke and I've heard that you went to the same high school that I currently go to, St Andrews. Is this true?Ollie Grant
TUBES SAYS:Alrite Ollie. Yeah I did go to St Andrews about ten years ago now. I had a lot of fun there. Is Mr Sullivan the P.E teacher still around? He was a bit of hero when I was there.
Tubes you're my hero! But what I want to know is if you had to choose between England winning the World Cup or Chelsea picking up the Champions League, what would you decide?Peter Richards
TUBES SAYS:Great question Peter and a really tough one to be honest. But if I had to choose it would be the World Cup. I'm desperate to see Chelsea win the Champions League, but the World Cup is something that the whole country could enjoy.
