Real Madrid are a weird team.

It's like when you cheat at Championship Manager, you just buy all the best players and worry about where you play them later. How many times do you see them sign a player and then they sod off again six months later?

To be honest, being a Chelsea fan, Manchester United are obviously a better side with Ronaldo than without Ronaldo so I'm pleased to see him leave.

But I hoped Chelsea would get Kaka. I couldn't believe two weeks ago he said he was getting bored of the rumours and was staying at AC Milan - and the next thing you know he's off to Real Madrid.

The thing with Real Madrid is they don't sign defenders. They just sign all these attacking players. It's great to watch but they can't defend for toffee. I think they need to sign some defenders if they want to be successful.

Their track record isn't exactly very good there though. Do you remember when they signed Jonathan Woodgate? Injured for six months and then scored an own-goal and was sent off on his debut!

But Ronaldo and Kaka are so good they'll probably just score more than they concede...

I didn't have a ticket for the England match, so I just went to the pub to watch it. I just felt sorry for the fans who were trying to get to Wembley, but they made a good effort.

I thought it was a good professional performance from our boys in the end, but Andorra's defenders reminded me of a pub team. They were rubbish.

I'll definitely be watching England in the Under-21 Championships though. For me, it's about the same as watching the England senior side. I'll be looking out for Michael Mancienne especially because he plays for Chelsea.

I'm still really enjoying my holiday. I love my job, but after working constantly for the last 10 months it's nice not to do anything for a while

I met Trev last week and went to watch Kid British - the five lads from Manchester who performed live on the last show of the season. I went to watch them out in Mile End and they were really, really good.

I've just booked a trip to Thailand. I'm off to Koh Phi Phi in July and hopefully it will be nice because it takes about 15 hours to get there.

I went there before with Rocket a couple of years ago. I'm going with the girlfriend this time so I think it will be a bit different...

England was wicked, travel not to bad from essex area, thou i suppose we were lucky. Loads turned out for the boys, so glad the game went without a hick up. Gutted for those who couldnt make it. they missed a cracking performance from Beckham. Glad to see the back of Ronaldo, I wont have to see him dive and cry like a baby when a fly flies past him and he falls over.
