Viva Glasvegas

Glasgow rockers Glasvegas joined Helen and Max in the studio to talk about their new album!

The foursome from Dalmarnock have received praise from every corner of the music industry, including music mogul Alan McGee, who heralded them as "The most exciting thing I've heard since Jesus and Mary Chain." - Not bad for band who haven't even released their first album yet!

Their new single, Daddy's Gone, was released as a limited edition 7" last November and was voted as the second best single of 2007 by NME.

The band are playing at the Reading festival this weekend and we had loads of questions for Paul and James, including...

How did they feel about having Daddy's Gone voted as the second best single of 2007 by NME.

Which band do they always come second to?

Do they think they are releasing their album at a good time?

And... was James nervous about having to take part in our Rome game being a former pro?
