SUMMARY: Nicholls jumps the tape and is excluded - a real shame. He took a gamble and it failed. In the re-start, Crump sweeps to the front on the first bend and stays there to win, but Hancock pushes him all the way in a great race. Pedersen hits a rut and comes off but credit to the Dane he got his bike off the track to allow the race to continue.

SUMMARY: Jonsson jumps the tapes and the race is stopped but all four riders are allowed to race again. In the re-start, Jonsson goes early again and is warned but not excluded. The second re-start is good and Hancock and Crump pull away, with the American winning. Bomber tries to get back but is only third in a brave effort given his injuries.

SUMMARY: Bjarne Pedersen goes into Nicki Pedersen coming off the first bend, sending the World Champ into the air fence. It was the rough and tumble of the race but the ref excludes Bjarne to whistles and boos. It is a wrong decision but it is consistent after he disqualified Adams earlier. In the re-start, Pedersen leads from start to finish while Nicholls claims second to qualify for the final, despite hitting several ruts, much to the delight of the home fans.

SUMMARY: Iversen goes into Harris and both collide into the air fence in spectacular style. Iversen is exluded. Bomber is receiving treatment as Iversen's bike has gone into him. Iversen is now on his feet and is being led away but looks shaky. Bomber is still getting treatment. Good news - Bomber is on his feet to rapturous applause. He has broke his nose and hurt his leg but is going to carry on to the sound of 'Land of Hope and Glory'! In the re-start, Andersen gets to the front and stays there. Bomber and Kasprzak tussle for second with the Bomber coming through for two points and the semis. Brilliant!!

SUMMARY: Nicholls gets to the front on the first bend but Crump eventually takes him on lap 2 and pulls away to win. Nicholls is well clear in second and Hancock claims third. Crump and Nicholls almost collide at the end after Crump hits a rut and only just stays on. Nicholls is in the semis with 10 points.

SUMMARY: Pedersen wins for 14 points so far, Kennett holds on for second and Lindgren third.

SUMMARY: World Champ Pedersen tries to get to the front from the outside but goes into the back wheel of Adams and the World Champ crashes out. The ref excludes Adams, who looks hard done by as he is in the lead and did not know Pedersen was there. He is now arguing with the ref to try and stay in, but to no avail. Adams is furious - it was just the rough and tumble of the race and all 4 should have been allowed to re-start. In the re-start, Pedersen gets to the front but Holta can not control his bike and rides into Pedersen's back wheel in a spectacular crash. Holta is excluded which is good for Bomber in a later race as he can not catch him. Steve asks if the track is rutting - yes it is Steve, but it's not as bad as in Sweden two races ago when it was lethal. In the second re-start, it is Pedersen versus Jonsson and both need the points as they go for the semis. Pedersen gets 3 points, Jonsson 2. I have given Holta 1 point here for technical reasons.

SUMMARY: Wildcard Kennett gets to the front on the first bend, while Gollob goes wide. Iversen eventually takes him and Jonsson also gets up into second with Kennett ends up with a point. Gollob does not finish after being well adrift.

SUMMARY: Bomber tries to get to the front from the outside but is forced wide and is out at the back. He eventually takes Nicki Pedersen on the line for a point. At the front, Bjarne Pedersen takes the 3 and Nicholls gets 2.

SUMMARY: Unbeaten Hancock makes it four wins in a row from Gate 2. He makes a great start to get to the front and pulls away to win, despite going wide on a rut. Kasprzak is way back in second - but can not get to the semis - and Dryml in third to get his first point of the night. Holta will be disappointed as he had 6 points before this and needed to add to his total here against two riders who had no chance of qualifying.

SUMMARY: A close start and Andersen gets to the front from Gate 3 and pulls away. Lindgren and Crump tussle for second and the Australian gets into second before Lindgren goes into the air fence and the race is stopped. Andersen will be upset as he was well clear to win. Lindgren is excluded for the re-start but is okay. In the re-start, Crump squeezes Andersen out at the first corner. The Australian goes on to win from Adams in second and Andersen tailed off in third. Crump has 11 points and will be in the semis and Adams has got a good chance with 7 points. Kevin the Burnage Ace has been in touch to say: "JC looks awesome tonight to me even as an ACES fan, i think he could be in for his first series win! SUMMARY: Hancock has won both his heats upto now and gets a great start from Gate 1 to lead at the first corner and pulls away to win easily. Iversen falls off but the race is not stopped to allow the American to surely claim his place in the semis with 9 out of 9. World Champ Pedersen adds another 2 to his total, making it 5 for the night to be in with a good chance of the semis. Lindgren gets his second point of the night in third.

SUMMARY: Nicholls does really well to somehow get to the front on the first bend from Gate 3 but Holta takes him and then pulls away. But Nicholls comes back at him but Holta holds on for the win. Nicholls will be pleased with another 2 points in the bag to push closer to the semis. Andersen takes a point in third. Wildcard Kennett can not make an impact.

SUMMARY: Crump gets to the front on the first bend and stays there to win. Bomber is in second and pushes Crump at first before the Australian pulls away for an easy win, but bomber will be pleased with two points which takes him closer to the semis. Jonsson takes third and a point.

SUMMARY: Kasprzak gets to the front from Gate 4 yet again but hits a rut soon afterwards and does really well to stay on his bike but drops back to last. Pedersen accepts the gift and rides to win - he will surely make the semis now with 8 points already. Gollob takes a hard-fought second to improve his chances of making the semis with Adams in third.

SUMMARY: Oxo has been in touch to say: "Great start from Bomber. Shame about Anderson, he was very poor at Ipswich on Thursday." Cheers for your view Oxo - lets hope the Bomber goes onto win!! Brit Nicholls gets to the front from Gate 4 and pulls away to win - his first heat win in this series! Jonsson gets second after a great battle with Kasprzak who takes a point.

Gollob sweeps to the front on the first bend but goes wide and Andersen capitalises to get to the front and win. Gollob and Pedersen battle it out for second and Gollob finally gets the two points from the Dane.

SUMMARY: Heat 5 pits two winners from the first heats against each other - Bomber and Hancock. Will it be the Brit or American to win here? Hancock leads from start to finish to win but it is close as Adams, who stays in second throughout, almost gets there on the line. Bomber Harris makes a bad start but gets into third for a point.
