The reigning Sky Sports Elite League champions moved into third place in the standings after claiming a maximum four-point haul on their travels.
Troy Batchelor led the way for the visitors with a 14-point haul, including winning the final heat of the night, while he received solid support from Peter Kildemand (8+1), Ashley Birks (8) and Nick Morris (7+2).
They crucially seized control of proceedings with 4-2 results in the second and fourth heats, opening up a gap that they would refuse to surrender for the rest of the meeting.
King's Lynn were simply unable to get close again despite back-to-back race wins for Niels-Kristian Iversen and Rory Schlein getting them within four. However, the Robins put paid to any thoughts of a home comeback when Birks led home team-mate Peter Kildemand in the 12th heat.
"We were kind of drifting out of the play-offs, getting swallowed up by other teams, but four points tonight is very important," Robins manager Alun Rossiter told Sky Sports afterwards.
Opposite number Rob Lyon will be hoping his troops bounce back quickly from the defeat - they travel to Swindon to face the same opponents on Thursday night.
"Fair play to Swindon, they have come here and done a job," he said. "We started in heat one with Nils breaking down and it went from there really."
King's Lynn fall to fifth in the table, while the charging Poole Pirates only sit a point behind them after their 53-39 truimph over the Belle Vue Aces.
Maciej Janowski (13+1) and Chris Holder (12+1) starred as the Pirates' continued to climb up the table by beating the Aces for the second time in the week, the teams having previously met at Belle Vue on Monday night.
