Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is confident John Terry and Frank Lampard will be fit in time for Saturday's match against West Ham.

The England pair were both ruled out of the international squad for their opening Euro 2012 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Switzerland, but have been assessed at the club's Cobham training camp this week.

Blues skipper Terry was ruled out with a hamstring injury whilst vice-captain Lampard had to undergo a hernia operation following their 2-0 victory over Stoke at Stamford Bridge at the end of August.

However, they appear to be recovering from their setbacks quickly, with Terry likely to play a part, whilst Lampard will be assessed further before a decision is made whether he will make the squad to face his former club at Upton Park.

"Lampard had surgery on Tuesday and I think that he will start to train this week," he said.

"I don't know when but we will see how he trains and we will take a decision for the game against West Ham.

"Terry didn't have surgery but he used the last week to improve his hamstring.

"He will start to train with the squad this week, maybe Tuesday, and I think he will be able to play against West Ham.'
