Jon Stead marked his Ipswich Town debut with a goal in a 2-0 vicrtory over Reading as Jim Magilton's side won at home for the first time this term.
Graham Alexander scored a goal in each half as Burnley posted a maiden triumph of the season with a 2-1 success at Nottingham Forest.
Steve Kabba scored four minutes from time to earn Blackpool a first home win of the campaign courtesy of a 1-0 success over Barnsley.
