Murray: Needs games
Wolves keeper Matt Murray is hoping to secure a loan switch to Hereford in order to boost his match fitness.
The former England U21 international is expected to complete a move to Edgar Street after a deal with the Bulls' League One rivals MK Dons feel through in October due to Carl Ikeme sustaining a slight knock.
It is believed that Murray will now pen a one-month contract with Graham Turner's side, helping to bolster their numbers as they look to steer clear of the relegation zone.
"It was disappointing when Milton Keynes didn't happen because there was a doubt about Carl's fitness," Murray told Wolves' official website.
"But I'm delighted to be going to Hereford. I've played there in a couple of pre-season friendlies and of course there is a Wolves connection with former Wolves manager Graham Turner in charge there.
"He was the gaffer at Molineux when I was a schoolboy here.
"I've taken part in some training ground friendlies this season but there's nothing like playing 90 minutes when three points are at stake.
"I just hope that I can help Hereford while they are helping me."
Meanwhile, luckless Wolves defender Mark Little is facing up to the prospect of a frustrating spell on the sidelines.
The 20-year-old could be out of action for up to three months after undergoing surgery on a damaged cartilage picked up during a loan spell at Northampton.
"Obviously it's frustrating - a bit of a nightmare really because I was playing regular football and enjoying it," he said.
"I had the operation earlier this week and now I'm back at Wolves starting off with the rehabilitation.
"It's just a case of getting in and doing my work and starting the recovery process.
"At least I'm not out for the season and know I will hopefully be back in the New Year."
