Paris St Germain climbed to 11th in Ligue 1 thanks to a 3-0 home victory over Lens.

Three second-half goals in the space of seven minutes sealed the welcome three points for the home team in this relegation six-pointer.

Pedro Pauleta opened the scoring in the 59th minute, before Amara Diane hit a quick-fire brace on 65 and 66 minutes.

The result leaves Lens in the relegation zone, two points from safety.

In the other Ligue 1 Sunday game, Rennes beat Marseille 3-1 draw at the Stade De La Route-De-Lorient.

Former Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse put Marseille in front in the 16th minute, before Mickael Pagis equalised for the home team on 39 minutes.

Marseille were reduced to ten men after Juan Krupoviesa received a red card for delibrate hand-ball in the 68th minute.

Rennes were able to capitalise, with Sylvain Wiltord scoring a late brace with goals on 82 and 88 minutes.

The result lifted Rennes up to 9th in the league, while Marseilles dropped to 12th.
