Ferguson: Record breaker
Barry Ferguson has revealed that he hopes to break the 100 game barrier in European competition for Rangers.
The Gers' captain will break the record for most appearances by a Scotsman in Uefa competitions when he lines up against Werder Bremen on Thursday.
The game will represent his 77th at that level, taking him past Dundee United legend Dave Narey, but he is refusing to stop there.
With a few years still left in him at the top level, Ferguson hopes that he will get the opportunity to enjoy many more European nights in the future.
"I've still got another two years on my contract to go, so I'd like to think I can clock up a few more games in that time," he said.
"It would be nice to play 100 games at that level.
"For the moment I'm just delighted to break the Scottish record and hopefully I can go on to play many more games in Europe for Rangers."
