Wigan will be without second rower Gareth Hock for their derby clash with St Helens in Cardiff on Sunday.

The 24-year-old Great Britain forward was handed a one-match ban and a £300 fine by the Rugby Football League's disciplinary panel after being found guilty of punching during his side's 26-12 defeat at Bradford on Sunday.

However Hock, who has only just returned to the Warriors team after recovering from a broken thumb, was found not guilty of striking an opponent with his forearm in the same match.

Two-match bans

Wakefield prop forward Ricky Bibey will miss the Wildcats' derby with Castleford at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday after being found guilty of striking.

The former Wigan and St Helens player struck Harlequins hooker Chad Randall with his forearm during his side's 24-20 win over the Londoners on Saturday.

Bibey was handed a two-match ban and fined £300 when he appeared before the disciplinary panel.

Warrington's Great Britain hooker Jon Clarke will also sit out the next two matches after being found guilty of striking with his forearm during his side's 30-22 home defeat by St Helens.
