Forward Scott Wheeldon has become the latest player to cross the divide after completing his transfer from Hull FC to Hull KR.

Wheeldon follows former team-mates Chris Chester, Paul Cooke and Shaun Briscoe who have all recently left the KC Stadium for their neighbours.

And Robins coach Justin Morgan is pleased with the signing of the 22-year-old prop who he feels is a star for the future.

He said: "Scott is a talented young man with huge amounts of potential."

Wheeldon makes the short switch to Craven Park for the 2009 Super League season.

It will be a return to a familar venue for the forward after he played for the Rovers' academy as a junior.

"While it will be an obvious wrench leaving fellow young players and mates at the KC, it will be an exciting challenge to rejoin the club where I first sampled club rugby in the academy," Wheeldon added.
