National League One side Leigh have signed Stuart Donlan from Castleford on a two-year deal.

The full-back or winger started his career with the Centurions before going to play for Halifax and Huddersfield, and made 20 appearances for Castleford in the Super League this season.

Leigh chief executive Allan Rowley said: "Stuart is an excellent addition to our squad. He's a Leigh lad who has played for the club before and also has a wealth of Super League experience."

Meanwhile, Leigh have said goodbye to former Warrington centre Toa Kohe-Love, who has joined Widnes for a second time.

"I'm delighted to be coming back to Widnes," said Kohe-Love, who joins seven current players on the roster for next season. "In truth I never wanted to leave but events off the pitch forced my hand."
