Cho Jae-jin is close to agreeing terms with Fulham, according to the player's agent.

The South Korean international impressed in a recent trial with the Cottagers and Roy Hodgson was quick to sound his admiration for the tall striker.

According to Cho's agent, Kim Min-jae, the 26 year-old is set to accept Fulham's offer and a deal could be concluded in the coming week.

"We consider it a reasonable offer, and we have many reasons to believe that the talks will produce a good result this time," Kim told the Korea Times.

"Fulham manager Roy Hodgson has high regard for Cho's ability, and Cho made it clear he wants to play there.

"We think it would be a good fit."

The former Shimizu S-Pulse star spent the last month in England undergoing trials with a number of Premier League clubs including Newcastle United, Portsmouth and Fulham.
